wow not only did herb dean **** me by not stopping the fight when rashad was clearly done for, page did the exact same thing as thiago silva, let rashad recover for 2 mins. I had a good night but it was about to be great and now im just pissed. 1 of the 6 jackpot parlay cashes 5 to win 1000, so close to 6 of 6 brilz got robbed

what in the world was page thinking, after herb didnt stop it, page should have stood right up but even when it got back to the feet, he didnt even attack

Herb Dean is the man. No way that should have been stopped. Page missed all his follow up punches after he rocked him sadly.

he was trying to grab a hold of his body trying to reduce the distance between them to avoid the strikes(ya he was rocked but he wasnt getting hit with any clean shots and wasnt knocked out) . It was rampages fault he missed and stopped throwing, when he was rocked on the ground page threw punches for only like 3 seconds and mostly missed then stopped didnt do much damage after the initial rockage. Herb got in there and had a great angle and made the right call.

I don't think Dean should have stopped it. Rashad wasn't getting hit when he went down. Rampage was too tentative. He should have finished it.

Rampage was thinking he barely hit him with most of the shots and Rampage gassed out holding position.

I can't get enough of this thread. Betting on Hansen is hilarious the guy has no defense in anything except subs and Takaya has monster power, crazy, faster and tons of heart plus he wasn't cutting as much. har har har

rampage been fighting that way ever since he got trashed by wand... go back and watch Chuck 1 in pride if you wanna see an aggressive rampage who could have dominated the sport ever since 2004 but broke mentally.

dude mentally gave up on the fight once he couldn't put rashad away then, and rashad dug deep and almost KO'd page after that... as predicted, huge heart and mentality advantage as well as speed and wrestling to Rashad. this was such an easy fight to call, much easier than even Mousasi/King Mo or hendo/shields

Almost the exact same thing happened to forrest vs rashad and he regained gaurd like 3 or 4 times after being rocked again and again, even went for subs but rashad was able to pass off of it and keep punching. this is difference between a guy who trains MMA and a guy who hits mitts and yells a lot.

well you are right about that, his mental state. The layoff obviously affected him but i did not like what he had to say post-fight last night.

First he says he regrets the movie and ever doing it. Saying how he did not realize all the promos he had to do and travel etc..

Then a few mins later he says he has a bunch of movie offers that have been on the table awhile and has to decide to be a fighter or an actor because he "can't do both."

wiman over danzig - dont know if im going to bet, the line is -115 but i see danzig struggling a lot in this fight.

P. Thiago is a lock for sure...he's better than Kampmann at everything and Kampmann doesnt have KO power so no way he can even get a lucky one punch win. Will alos be going for Barry and Franklin.

I like Thiago also. The other picks look good as well, but not sure how good the lines will be.

I think its possible we see a soft line on griffen, maybe around -180

only worry in the Kampann fight is maybe he's able to grind out a win is similar fashion to the way he beat Condit, few takedowns here and there and a little gnp, I do like thiago in the fight though, its worth noting that in their one common opponent Volkman gave Thiago some trouble and Kampmann just destroyed him, if Kampmann makes the mistake of trying to bang it out with thiago he's going to get countered all day, still give the overall edge to Thiago

only fight i would disagree on is the macdonald vs condit, I still need to watch some more film on macdonald though before I come up with a definitive pick

Yee thts true about Kampmann beating Volkmann more comfortably thn Thiago did, but then you could say the same with so many other fights....like I thought Marquadt would destroy Sonnen, as Nate had easily beaten Maia who had easily beaten Sonnen. Maybe Thiago jus struggles more against wrestlers as he lost to Fitch and Volkmann is a straight out wrestler (I know he KO'd Koscheck but tht was because Koscheck thought he had superior striking - would of been a whole lot different if Kos had gone for takedowns early on). I personally thought Condit beat Kampmann anyway! On the subject of Condit, I agree with u that Macdonald should take this. He is a top prospect in WW division - Condit hasnt fought since September, might have the Rampage ring rust! All depends on the odds tho - I wont be puttin much on Thiago if he is more thn -260 and will only take Macdonald if he is evens or better. One fighter I'll definitely be betting on is Wilks to beat Sobotta.
