How can this parlay lose? I don't think it will or can...

    1. Rich Franklin* -335 vs Cung Le
    2. Thiago Silva* -350 vs Stanislav Nedko

I don't see Le or Nedko even coming close to a victory here. Sure one solid hit can change everything...But Rich Franklin and Silva? Those guys are absolute animals. Thoughts?

Rich Franklin is an absolute animal? I like a Franklin play, but its more of a Le fade. Franklin by being healthy and more well rounded.

Is Silva any good without PEDs?

My money is actually on Le. Rich has been rocked in basically all of his 185 fights, and Le kicks real hard.

You're right, it can't lose. Even if Franklin and Silva get KO'd, I think your ticket will still cash.

Well smart lil boy. I don't have a ticket for it yet because I have not locked anything in. Your sarcastic comments are adorable though.

Silva has had a bad back for a while now which he attributed to the reason he took PEDs. They no doubt helped him do more than not be effected than his back in the Vera fight, but I believe he really had had an injured back because he has referenced it since the Rashad loss. I hope he is back on them, but has found a better adviser to help him, cycle on and off properly. Although, if he were to cycle off would it still help him with his back issues come fight time? Maybe he should try the Whizzinator again but this time use clean human piss instead of that synthetic sh!t that isn't fooling anyone.

On another note, is it really necessary for the Whizzinator to be that big? I mean really, outside the porn industry there probably aren't too many people walking around with a flaccid penis that size.

Nedkov didn't look bad at the weigh ins at all. He could certainly pull it off, although I expect Silva to finish him.

im not running out to be nedkov....but im definetly not counting him out. i think laying over 3 to 1 on thiago is crazy.

tomasz drawl was cracking him throughout the 1st round, james irvin cracked him early, antonio mendes dropped him with a head kick, machida dropped him 2x and then finished him. thiago didnt want any of vera on the feet either. gustaffson also cracked him a few good times.

nedkov has very good timing and extremely heavy hands. in the wiuff fight they were about in even in the clinch...wich sais alot because wiuff is massive and strong as hell. (although the low blows may have weakened him a bit)
even if wiuff got him down, nedkov(bjj black belt) did an excellent job at tying up wiuff and he couldnt posture up at all, forcing stand ups or taking no damage. nedkov is dangerous with his punches throughout the entire fight. thiagos wrestling isnt that great, if thiago trades with nedkov he can definetly get knocked out, thiago just plods forward and is hittable.

i think thiago will want nothing to do with nedkov on the feet, and will try to take him down and gnp. but nedkov may just tie him up and get stood back up. every second they spend on the feet is dangerous for thiago.

so yes. your bet can lose. thiago silva can get ktfo.

however he switched 2 jaco, and now spars with guys like spong and rumble, wont have a layoff, and nedkov will, so you do have a few things going for you.

    hope i didnt ramble there jsut wantd to give my opinion on the matchup;

value is def w/ nedkov... he could prolly fight at 185, but even being a bit undersized, i think he should be +185, so anything close to +300 is great

This is true. Can't fault him for that play. No value in Maia at the opening odds though, I thought. I capped Weidman at -750 or there abouts (I've always been big on Weidman, if I posted my capping of the Boetsch fight I would be laughed out of the forum and told to take a probability course), but I bet Maia thinking I'd be able to arb pretty big by fight time. I was correct, and managed to arb, along with dumping a bunch of additional money on Weidman at ridiculous odds. Took the Weidman by decision prop too. One of my biggest winning plays (not dollar for dollar, but % for %.

It turned out Maia was very sick for that fight too.
