I agree. I dont know who won the sub bonus but this was brutal and i cant imagine many mma fans who have seen a choke end like this.

Agree, but Nog took it for being the first to submit Herman and the whole "Jiu Jitsu doesn't work" thing
Also think Silva deserved KO of the Night but they gave it to Rony Jason 'cos he needs it a lot more... Silva probably told 'em to give it to the kid.

I have been watching MMA for a decade now and have seen a lot of messed up stuff. Broken legs, "goat's vagina"-like cuts, knee blow-outs, in-cage seizers, etc. After all these years, even the grossest inures and cuts fail to have any effect on me, but that choke was different.
Seeing Rick's neck being twisted to the side while his face turned purple was no big deal. But when that blood shot out for seemingly no reason to other than the fact that he was being strangled, that got to me. I was legitimately grossed out for a second. That submission was brutal, barbaric, disgusting and totally awesome! EASILY submission of the night.
