    Is William Hill up?

    Hi SBR community,

I have login william hill before in Vietnam but now that address doesn't exist.

Firefox can't find the server at sports.williamhill.com.

I google william hill and click on the page and again I get this message.

Firefox can't find the server at sports.williamhill.com.

Is williamhill loadable where you are at? I am in Vietnam and can't load facebook or williamhill.

Thanks for the info. I email casino@willhill.com to lock up my account until I get back to Canada. I hope that is the right email address for my sportbook account. I can't load the site, so I wasn't able to check help/support for contact info.

Yeah p0rn is illegal but I check all my favor p0rn site, it is not block in Vietnam.
I heard of VPN, not really sure how it work, I will google it and try to load up william hill site.

Hotspot shield? Is that a software? I been here near 5 months, 1 month is too long living here in a villiage. This villiage is 1.5hr north of Ho Chi Minh. Don't know Vietnamese or speak it but the area I am stay is near Jum Bom (pronounce like that but spell wrong)
My wireless 3g Viettel is good enough to live chat, nothing else. It is slow and unreliable, but work surprising good after pass midnight.

That's pretty rough man, I'm sorry. How'd you up in some random village?
    http://www.hotspotshield.com/

Yeah the 3g is gonna be slow until non-peak hours. Early mornings (like midnight through 8am) should be solid and on weekends especially try the lunch hours, 12-2, I'm sure you've noticed that everyone basically sleeps during that time.

Hope you learned the word for dog at least!

Oh I am not in random village, I am staying with the in-law with my wife. I don't have a Jop for 8yr, I could be anywhere I want where lifestyle is not that expensive. But with 3.5g (bills in canada and vietnam living) monthly expensive and riding a 6g downswing, I might need a temp job until I figure this mma out.

3.5gs a month in Vietnam?! unless like...2.5k of that is bills, you're living pretty damn well unless your in-law is making you pay rent. Are you Viet Kieu?

Do you have the right V I S A? Cause they don't look too kindly at foreigners working without those.

If you're in rural vietnam, with vietnamese family, you should be living pretty well off of ~$100 a week. There just isn't really anything that expensive I can think of there. My daily budget for food was ~$5 a day, unless I planned on going to an expat/upper class restaurant.

No doubt. Now how are you going to live 'pretty well' in Canada for the other $3,000?

Depending where -- you can pretty well for $1800 to $2500. Obviously not in the major cities.

I live in Calgary, Canada. My mortgage is pretty low around $550 a months but with other bills it is close to $1300 a month in Canada. I bring over $3300 us plus 100,000,000d worth of gold equivalent to $5000, after 5 months here I am broke. So $8,300 / 5 months is $1660. So it is around $3000 a months.

Yes, I am Viet Kieu. I let my wife hold the $$$. My in-law charge me nothing, I think the $$$ spend in vietnam is for alternative medicine and buying shoes/clothing for nephew and niece. And my wife and I constantly losing mahjong $$$ since there is nothing to do around here.

I only plan to stay here for 3 months but accidentally booked for 4 months, which is not a big deal. This is the first time I got a 5yr V I S A but the fine print on the V I S A is 90 days maximum stay. You have to either exit the country within 90 days or apply an extension on V I S A for another 90 days. Too lazy and careless to check the finer detail, was turn back at the airport by the airport authority. If I have $200 us on me that day, I would be home by now. I was really stress out over the situation, calling China Eastern to book another day back. China Eastern support find 2 tickets for my wife and I for October 9, 2012 for $2250 each 1 way, after I give them my 'cancel' etickets (some kind of big Chiness holiday, that why the ticket is so expensive). Another $4500us for etickets plus 6g mma downswing really put the stress on me. But my sister-in-law call around regarding cancel flight after departure within 4hr period to see if we can rebook for minimum fee. Both my sister-in-law and sister told me my etickets is still open till November. My sister in Calgary was able to talk to the travel agent directly for help to rebook the flight back, surprising the agent able to rebook our flight for only $50 each for paper work. What a stress reliever going from $4500 to $100 for 2 tickets back, than my good luck change as I also won $1800 in 2 UFC/ 2Bellator event. Now I have 2.6g on Eric Silva @-110 hoping my luck continue but I am likely chicken out and hedge $1000 to $1600 on Fitch if the odds hit +135 and up on Saturday. If the line goes against me, I have to keep my 2.6g bet but that is a bad sign. It tells me the betting community know something about this match-up that I don't know about, difficult to hedge if Fitch hit -120 or worse. ooops I just rambling now.

You are betting way too big if you're that broke. About 50x too big.

$550/month mortgage in Calgary? Maybe if you win the Silva fight you can add a second room to the house.

Sounds like you shouldn't let your wife hold any money if she's gambling it away.

I was in a hot streak after I won the 3.5g on condit @+160 & @+184. I was up 15g+ within first 7 months of serious mma wager. Than I have to leave Canada for Vietnam with only my laptop without my mma resource, I kinda bet blindly with stupid logic.
Daniel Cormier vs Josh Barnet open at +135/-175. I bet 1g on Josh Barnet @-117, I though I got a great deal since the expert think he should be a huge favor at -175.
Than my biggest mistake I made is auto fade 36yr Mike Brown without though or logic.
I bet 2.6g+ at various odd around +130 on Daniel Pineda, I was able to hedge Mike Brown at +108 but unable to log into to my account from my smart phone. My downswing started with a boom I am down 3.6g+ in 2 events.

I learned my mistakes, I think. I thorough analysis the Silva vs Fitch match up, and feel very confidence even with some respected poster pick Jon Fitch. I don't think Eric is done if he can't finished Jon Fitch in the 1st round, Eric Silva have showed he finished fight few time in 2nd round and some 3rd round. So I am not likely hedging my 2.6g bet on Eric Silva unless Jon Fitch line hits +145 at fight day.

Yeah my mortgage is only $550, I brought my house in 2003 just before the housing boom. I only have 26g left in princible, I could paid that off if I quit gambling and use my online roll.

I only let my wife hold the money in Vietnam because I am not sure what I should contribute while staying with the in-law. She is free to use the money to buy grocery, help pay electric bill, etc. My wife is not a compulsive gambler, worse day she might lose $50 us in Mahjong and someday she wins that back, but she loses more than she wins.

What is your bankroll now? Do you have a separate online roll? Its pretty certain you're overbetting. If you're making 2500$ bets but panicking over losing $8000 or so, something is wrong with your methodology.

Hope you find a satisfying way out of this, but I don't know if gambling is right for you right now.

Yes I am stress out and panicky of this 2.6g Eric Silva bet because I am on a 6g downswing. If I am not in a downswing, this is very typical bet I make when I feel I can see the fight clearly. This is not my first big bet, I been betting like this for a yr now.

    3.5g condit over diatz
    2.6g+ Davis over Evans
    2.6g+ Pineda over Browne
    2.4g+ Gustafsson over Silva
    2.4g+ Carmont over Vemola
    2g Barao over Pickett
    1.2g Diaz over Miller, now
2.6g+ Eric Silva over Jon Fitch. I just try to relax and treat this as a free roll since I expect to spend 3g+ for airplane tickets home when it only cost me $100 for paper work to rebook my flight.

Losing 6g betting 3g at a time is not a downswing. The reason Nunya asks what your bankroll is is because any sports gambler who hopes to make long-term profit, and not go broke, would never be put in a bad situation by losing two or three big bets. Your betting strategy sounds very degenerate, and you run a high risk of ruin. I won't say more than this, because I'm fairly certain that almost no one who makes degenerate plays and has won before will recognize the risks, even if I explain them, so I'll just say that I hope for your sake Silva wins; good luck.

I did so much research too, I couldn't believe I am wrong in so many fights. If I didn't keep an eye on the line movement or when out with friend, I am so f*ck. Lucky I arb out $1800 back. Fitch win by dec $300 @+178, Fitch $500 @+145, Fitch $300 @+177 (sick line). I end up only losing $1075 in the whole ufc card, very luck to lose so little went I literally f*ck every fight in this card. Lost $1200 this weekend.
    downswing $6000-$200-$1600+$1200 = $5400. mma bankroll sitting at 19g.

It is reverse - Downswing at peak is $6000, I am down 6g. -$200, -$1600 is what I won, so I subtract it from downswing. I lost $1200, that is added on top of my downswing which is sitting at $5400. I lost $5400 since my peak of 15g+.
