Hrmm. Not so fast Paper, I trained with Tim for the better part of 4 years, he's no slouch. He does have a D1 wrestling background, his boxing is, yes rudimentary, He did move his camp down to Las Vegas to Extreme Couture and training a lot with Roy Nelson.

Look at the fight between Mitrione Vs Carl Semefauna-matata or however you spell it (another teammate of mine that he fought) He almost put Mitrone out early, his chin isn't going to weather much of a storm from big Tim if he lands or secures a takedown with some solid GnP

His first fight after completely moving to vegas full time he was zapped by Cheik Kongo. Tim is also a Truck Driver though, I don't think he's training full time. You could be right, I just wouldn't sleep on him. I could see Tim getting a TKO here or grinding it out to a win on the cards if he plays his wrestling. I think he will drawrf Mitrone in stature.

He is very tough and 100% no joker.....however I just think his boxing is predictable as are his takedowns and he wins by wearing people down, cage push and takedown........I just think Meathead is smoother as far as footwork......Tim IMO will just be biting down on his mouthpiece and going in lol.....not that it CANT land.....TJ will move forward but be the one taking the shots....just how I see it....

...if he IS driving a truck, he should stop, roid up and try to win....everyone knows roinds pay in the long run

yeah, im going to have to disagree with this. I'm not saying Mitrione is championship material, but his whole game plan is to be quicker and faster on the feet against his opponents. The ILLEGAL head butt knocked down Mitrione and he pretty much didn't even get to fight. but, still, no excuses just results, you could argue that Mitrione should not have been in a position to get head butted, but i still can't believe Beltran missed TWO illegal headbutts last night. As soon as Mitrione fell to the ground from the head butt, Beltran should have jumped in and stood the fighters back up, that's what the rule is.

I did watch it multiple times and there was a headbutt but MM was also throwing a leg kick and off balance. I dont think he was really knocked down it was more of an off balance nudge, It didn't really seem like a major "clash" of heads to me.. happy for Tim but it could have been cleaner for sure, like basically all of his wins.

I agree it was a combo but it def put him on his ass....and my god tim is HUGE lol...him getting that takedown was a gift from the gods.....no hate for the guy at all, he even knew there was some lluck facot invloved, but he did his part....

Yup its one of those things that seems super fast and easily missed, but no to a ref...they should be on that....ive had plently BS fights tip my way so it is what it is.....still salty but alive LOL..
