What do they expect when they put UFC on Fuel TV where the 22 million Comcast subscribers cannot watch.

No one goes to prison for pirating anything. The only guys who get criminal penalties are the guys profiting off running the websites or leaking large amounts.

Keep on trolling though, its way more exciting than having a girlfriend.

You're not too bright. They're going after people who are streaming the content, not watching it.

@ going to jail for watching a stream.

While I agree that sideloaded isn't the brightest star in the solar system, you'd better read the article again because you're dead wrong.

Opening line "... the UFC intends to go after individuals who watch illegal streams of events, not just the websites that host the streams."

They're not bright, either. It is NOT illegal to watch a stream. It's illegal to be the person providing the stream. Going after viewers wouldn't get them anywhere. Zuffa's legal team isn't stupid. Whoever wrote that article, is.

Zuffa's only recourse is going against people who download their events.

Which federal laws are you referencing? I imagine your referring to US federal law although, from the sounds of it, Zuffa may be pursuing any individual including international users where laws differ.

I sure as sh*t don't want Zuffa coming after me for streaming/downloading/etc. but thankfully I believe I'm safe in the grey zone of Canadian digital download law.

It'll probably be similar to how the RIAA hands out notices, they send you a threat and tell you to pay this much or risk getting sued, hoping to get free checks from idiots who are scared.

Trolling? Then tell me why you even mentioned tor? Everyone knows you cant use tor to watch a flash stream. Also why in the hell did you mention peerblock??? Peerblock is for p2p. Zuffa has the server logs for the rtmp flash server. If you blocked that ip with peerblock you couldn't watch the stream anyways. Zuffa never needed to connect to your pc so peerblock is useless. Even when I troll I at least know what I'm talking about. Oh as for not going to jail look up the channel surfing guy from texas or the tvshack guy. They only linked to streams. Everyone assumed like the not too bright IQon watching a stream wasn't illegal and it is. So assuming those are the only guys going to jail now doesn't mean in the future they couldn't seek criminal charges for watching a stream.

Don't enable or install browser plugins
The Tor Browser will block browser plugins such as Flash, RealPlayer, Quicktime, and others: they can be manipulated into revealing your IP address. Similarly, we do not recommend installing additional addons or plugins into the Tor Browser, as these may bypass Tor or otherwise harm your anonymity and privacy.
I'm just sick of your attitude overall. You post like you're better than everyone and the stuff you talk about is only about 1/3 of the truth. Everyone likes and respects vaughny but you just get on peoples nerves. Next time educate yourself a little bit before stepping to me.

Why am I not too bright? Are you assuming the guys too cheap to buy a ppv will have the money to pay the fines? Because it's real easy to go jail for non payments of fines.

If I'm only 1/3rd truthful, then I've still helped this forum out infinitely more than you. Maybe I'm a cocky asshole, but I've shown people a few things here that took time for me to figure out on my own. If I helped 1 person here make a dollar, that makes me a 1 percenter around these parts.

But, keep begging to get your play money limits raised, loser.

    What is a shot taker?
i dont really understand the concept...
is it a person that makes huge parlays looking for a long shot payout? if so, why is that frowned upon?

is it someone that takes advantage of mistakenly set lines? If so...dont most books usually cancel those plays? hell.. i'd argue its a fair play anyways because those are the lines they set! dont retail stores always honor their printed add? its not like the line cant be changed after a mistake is noticed

I'm not quoting the thread for its actual point. The thread is about trixtrix who is a major sharp, not this dumbo.

But, to answer your question a shot taker is someone who is doing something that is technically allowed, but isn't intended to be. In this case Trix was betting correlated parlays in the betpoints book.

That's why the SOPA and ACTA acts were a big issue months ago.

If those laws were enforced, people could get trouble with the law for illegal streams and downloads, but those laws failed because most people were against it.

Nah. I'm just teasing because I haven't forgot that you talked sh*t about Condit (prior to the Diaz fight) in a way that made you sound like a complete moron... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though. You're redeeming yourself in this thread so far.

LOL that was all done as a joke to expose SBR as losers who are afraid of mma parlays. I was playing dumb notice I changed the name to sideloader? Notice SBR got embarassed and deleted my posts, then added it back because it made them look like criminals? Didn't think so.

Several days after the UFC obtained user information from a website offering pirated pay-per-view events, the promotion plans to sue individuals who watched fights for free.

It's called a scare tactic, numbnuts. How about you start quoting Dana White when he begins citing actual statutes prohibiting stream WATCHING and not empty verbal threats saying it's illegal. Not like he doesn't have a personal agenda to stop streams, get stream watchers to pay for the PPV's or anything...

I bet you're one of those idiots who pay speeding tickets that a traffic cam cited you for. All because they SAID you broke the law.

“I have a very hard time finding a theory of liability for someone who merely watched an illegal broadcast. That’s like saying if a bar was illegally publicly presenting a movie or an NFL game, that everyone in the bar would be liable,”“My guess is that the UFC’s attorneys will not really go after people who merely watched the fights. They may, however, use the data they gather in order to find out if any of those people were re-distributing it.”
“If they’re really going after people for merely watching an illegal stream, I’d defend that case free of charge,” Randazza told TorrentFreak. “That’s not the right thing to do.”
