Would also love to hear why anybody would bet Bader straight up? Is he gonna win by KO or Sub?

Damn, no. He's practically a clone of Hamil.

i think he is better than hamil. more athletic. quicker feetand faster hands. better boxing/striking which sets up better take downs. bader is young and improving. he can finish rampage on the ground or win dec.

I wouldn't take Bader unless he was getting close to the +400 range. The only reason I'm not putting a huge amount on Rampage is because I don't know how motivated he is. He will most likely come in shape for the Japanese crowd but I'm not that confident. Also I think he would be more likely to fight injured so he doesn't dissapoint the Japanese crowd. I agree he's better than Hamill but I haven't seen much improvement over his last few fights, I think he may have peaked.

Bader has time to improve. But as of now he isn't a top 10 LHW. His wrestling really isn't that impressive in MMA. I highly doubt he takes down Rampage...let alone controls him. As far as striking? He does have some power in his hands. But his striking is pretty average.

Bader is basically a product of TUF hype. A decent fighter, but being in there with guys like Jones or Rampage isn't really good for him at this point of his career.

How will he finish Rampage on the ground?

bader could setup a takedown with strikes and get full mount or get his back then gnp or chokeout

I guess there is a small chance of tht happening in Round 1 whilst he is fresh...he usually starts out fast. But when was the last time Rampage got finished on the ground (pre-Jones)?

i think bader can land punches and ko him standing. especially if rampage overlooks bader and gets wild going 4 big ko

I don't know what information you are using to base this because I could say rampage could take bader down get to full mount then set up a triangle choke.

Most of us here are taken page as he has shown a bj Penn level of takedown defense -even Jones had difficulty. Moreover Ryan gasses out in the later rounds. Bader is going to have to steal rounds with late takedowns and that's if page doesn't catch that chin like Tito did.

I have 3u on page but best of luck

Even with Rampage's solid chin? Moreover, I doubt Bader will be planting his feet and throwing bombs like he has in other fights as his strategy will probably be to keep moving, land leg kicks and if Rampage gets in close shoot for the takedown. I doubt Rampage will be the one backing up allowing Bader to shoot or throw bombs.

Please let bader throw some strikes. Page counter boxing is what I like in this match up.

Bader needs a stick and move gameplan but his cardio won't allow that

    Not impossible, but unlikely.
"Daze page"- I have only seen Rampage "rocked" once, and that was by Rashad and yes, Rashad was able to take him down after that.
Finish him- Page has been finished once in the UFC, by Jones who employed a perfect strategy that fight to keep rampage on the outside. Furthermore, Jones BJJ skill is lightyears ahead of Bader.

I like Bader, my gf likes Bader for other reasons, but I personally do not like his chances in this matchup but one never truly knows. Maybe Page is starting to slow down, he is 33, and Bader is hitting his athletic peak at 28 (damn, I am running out of time). If you wanna bet on that intersection of Page possible decreasing abilities versus Baders possible increasing game, then I wish you best of luck, but most hear are goign to base their pick on style, history, abilities, and right now, all signs point to Rampage

So he doesnt think a draw is possible or a double KO? Hmm, I am thinking your friend is right 96.3% of the time.
But 60% of the time, I am right all of the time.

No, you get your money back.
If you bet jackson via certain method, then you do not.
A draw is highly unlikely, as that means a round must be 10-8 or a 10-10.

10-10's do happen. If you betting on a site like sportbet, pinnacle or bookmaker a draw will result in bet being voided. Some Euro sites offer the option of a draw tho so you can be caught out at times like I was in the second Maynard/Edgar fight on Skybet, luckily only lost 5 units because of it.
