I won't be surprised if he is -400 by fight time. Koscheck will be a step ahead wherever the fight goes. My best guess would be he puts Pierce away with a KO in the 2nd or 3rd. My gut says 2nd. If he decides to make it more of a wrestling match, he'll take the decision- or possibly a 3rd round ground and pound stoppage. Anyway, this is Mike Pierce's shot in the big time. He's gonna do his best, but it's not gonna be enough. It is gonna make him more recognizable and earn him a bigger paycheck, and he's happy to have Twittered his way into a big fight like that. Winning would just be the icing on the cake-- but all the stores/markets/bakeries in Vegas just called, and they are all out of icing! Word.

I don't like this line. I was hoping on getting him at -160 or so. Didn't expect him to be above -200. Doesn't matter, I guess. He's gonna prove to be too much for Jorgensen. Renan Barao Inside the Distance would make for a tasty prop bet.

I think Pierce has a better chance than a lot of people are giving him. Koscheck should be the favorite no doubt, but I truly believe Pierce is good enough to beat some top dudes.

Sorry gabe, I am taking Pierce here. He has a great chin and his striking is improving. Koscheck's usually combo is getting old and he is constantly just looking to throw his right hand. Moreover, Hughes was able to out jab him for a majority of the first round. Pierce should be able to negate Kos wrestling. However, Pierce (wiki-searching) has lost to any elite wrestler he has faced (Hendricks, Munoz, Fitch).

I am hoping Pierce hits +300 which I expect as Koscheck carries name recognition with him.

I also have quite a few cards with out wagers so I will sometimes go a month or more with nothing to add. To be honest, I used to only post a thread when I was very confident in a wager. Maybe only 4-5 a year.

I like Kos to bounce back with a convincing win. Got some on him when lines dropped @ bmaker.
