I'm 80/20 on the rumours about Conor's hand injury currently (as in 20% likely the rumours are true)...

            - On the one hand (hehe) there has been a lot of photos recently where he has been hiding his right hand (I noticed this a few days ago), on the flipside there has also been photos where his right hand is on show and is not wrapped or anything.

            - Dave Meltzer are apparently claiming that McGregor has had hand injury for past 2 weeks or sumin. Is he like many others just basing that on the Embedded Episode 1? Would they really drop the ball like that and show Conor wearing a wrap due hand injury for millions to see? Or am I overestimating the competency of the UFC?

Is that a swollen right thumb/hand?!!!

Indeed. The most compelling thing about SBR is that none of the dumb guys know that they're dumb. You could probably imply that they're an idiot and they wouldn't even notice.

I'm betting 5 units on Yoel Romero I don't see how Kennedy wins this one and have no idea why the odds are that close. Put a small bet on Mizugaki in case Cruz tears his ACL off the glove touch also. Wanted to go alverez as well but I really have no idea how him and cerrone is going to play out so I'm just going to enjoy that one. Also struggling to make a play on Mcgregor at those odds, as much as i like that match up for him.

Alvarez gets rocked or dropped by Cerrone -550.
Cerrone focks it up and loses anyway -160.

Cerrone/Alvarez is going to be a variance-fest. Either guy could conceivably finish the fight at any point, or dominate for a clear-cut 30-27. Alvarez level-changing into a Cerrone knee is my biggest concern. That knee will be there all night if Alvarez isn't careful.

Romero lost two rounds to Brunson and even got mounted at one point. Dont see how anybody can think this is an easy fight for Romero against a grinder that will go hard for 3 rounds and wont gas out, and has smothering top control

Didn't you hear? Romero medaled in the Olympics, he will have a massive wrestling edge and should be able stuff Kennedy with one hand. Kennedy has no Olympic medals, I'm not even sure if he made it to the final four. Personally, I think the ground should be a non-factor unless Romero decides to take it there.
