Haha the guy Jimmy from that fight show just goes great stoppage. Really? Great stoppage? Arlovski is unconscious, what do you expect.

Oh god, let's not even get into Tito. He's a pretty smart articulate guy but god, he was AWFUL tonight. It was like he was thinking, "Let's be overly critical and critique everyone because I can." Even Frank Sharmock checks his ego at the door when he commentates.

yeah, i thought frank was bad, but tito's HORRIBLE.. tito definitely knows his stuff, but is SO full of himself... was listenting to an interview w/him the other night (on a local show, carmichael dave who does lots of MMA radio stuff) and tito's still claiming that he hasn't really lost in a couple of years (claiming he's been hurt for this past like 7 fights).. what a fool.

Alright, that Jimmy guy I believe just made his second stupidest comment of the night. Fedor was dominating that fight and Arlovski doesn't belong in the ring with him? Until that KO happened, Arlovski was winning the round. There was nothing dominating about that performance.

Give me a combo of Gus Johnson and either Frank Mir or Josh Barnett. Either would be the perfect duo for commentating MMA. All three though and it turns into a pissing contest between Mir and Barnett.

if you want to see fedor about to lose go check him against fujita or hunt. AA looked like a dolphin when he got knocked out. Call him Andrei Flipper Arlovski

Chuck Zito? He's like a F-List celebrity who needs to shut the hell up. He came on and the TV went off.

Overall I thought this show was 100 times better than Affliction's first effort. Moved a lot smoother. Commenting, all though not superb, was a lot better than the last one. Fights were more exciting as well. If they can keep improving and get more talent, they might actually give the UFC something to worry about.

agreed... i still like the cage MUCH better for these types of fights.. ropes are good for sports/events (boxing) where most of the action is standing up, but ropes are Fing stupid for MMA fights, esp when they go to the ground. that might be the one thing that prevents affliction from getting REALLY big... just something about a cage that brings a dif. feeling to the fights (or maybe it's just me).

This might be there last show. It did not look like there was 15K people there. I was watching Mosley/ Margarito at the same time and Larry Merchant said that De La Hoya was not at the boxing match because " some t-shit guy paid them 5 million to promote there MMA show". I don't see Afliction being able to keep paying the fighters and the expense of promotions, especially with the tough economy (i'm guessing the $60 affliction shits are taking a hit in sales)

man i hope barnett vs Fedor happens. You could go a down a list of ever guy fedor fought and what skill they didnt have to beat FEdor. But, Barnett is a elite fighter and very underrated for awhile. He always gets better after every fight. I think he has the best game to take to fedor. But, fedor still wins.

Ya they might pull of one more. I hope so. But, their advertisement for these fights are horrible. And i have no problem with them going under. Stop seeing those ridiculous t-shirts.

I am in total agreement there. MMA is meant to be in a cage.

yea i also hope for one more card, but after a headliner of Fedor/Barnett, where do they go for main events. I don't think either of these 2 events sold well on PPV, so if Fedor vs Sylvia/Arlovski/Barnett don't sell i can't see Affliction making a 4th card

I don't think they need to worry just yet about going under and Larry Merchant is a f'n idiot. I can't wait until Max Kellerman permanently replaces him. DLH was there beacuse GBP has an interest in Affliction MMA along with Donald Trump. As long as they're on board they have enough funds to continue. When they pull out, that'll be the beginning of the end.

As to where they go after Barnett Fedor? They better hope they sign Tito Ortiz. He's not a top ten LHW but but he sells PPVs and tickets. A match between him and Babalu could be a nice headliner. And they could get the retarded Frank Shamrock vs. Ken Shamrock fight. It's a ridiculous match but Ken Shamrock sells PPVs and tickets. I don't think they have too many marquee matches that'd please MMA fans but they could put together some things that'd sell tickets.

UFC 92 DISCLOSED FIGHTER PAYROLL: $1,381,000

So i guess Affliction does pay more (of the disclosed salaries) but the bottom guys still get paid like 2K-10K. So much for them taking care of all fighters

I wasn't able to watch the PPV, but saw the Fedor fight online. That guy is unreal. I hope he doesn't run out of competition too soon as I want more fights.

I don't feel too bad about missing it, because the commentary I did hear sucked. Jesus christ it can be painful.

    Tito, never again.
