Mendes lack of finishes and Aldos lack of recent finishes would suggest so.

I have no clue how this is working.
Two Tuf shows and one with subtitles is going to get annoying and saturated real quick.

it is in addition to TUF 15. faber/cruz TUF 15 will be on FX. wandy/vitor TUF Brazil will be on Fuel. im not sure if they will overlap, completely or partially.

Last I read, both begin filming mid to late March and conclude 6 months later... I mean I'm a degenerate mma fan that's down to DVR MF-freaking C events and Shooto Fight for Bope... but even for me, quickly approaching saturation point.

But then again, the NFL season will be ending prior to that, so I'll have time for more mma.

hahaha totally feel you on this. but i have to say, i feel like something is missing without the occasional dream event here and there. im glad its having another event soon. nothing beats waking up at 8am to catch the final hour of a 6-hour event from japan. lol.

These guys obviously want to rip each others heads off. I think we can bank on a decision.

Does anyone else have trouble liking Team Alpha Male fighters?

I really don't want to see either of these 3 guys with a Championship in the UFC.

Hope Benavidez gets knocked out in the tournament.

Cruz better beat Faber, and Aldo better take this fight. I'm kinda afraid for him, though. He's looked worse and worse his last two fights, IMO. Hope Mendes doesn't wrestle his way to a victory.

It looks like the Alpha Male guys all came from the same factory or something. I'm sure it's due to their training regiment, diet, etc... but they all have the same build. I'm not really a fan of any of them, but Faber seems like a decent guy. And Benavidez can bring an exciting fight. I do agree that Aldo has looked beatable lately, but I'm not going to judge him on the Hominick fight with the exception of the takedowns since he obviously wasn't himself. If Mendes is relentless and can successfully get him on the ground and wear him out, this is going his way on the cards. I like the value in him at +200 or better or a Money by decision prop for sure.

I really though Mendes would have a better line here. Going to wait for props and a little more line movement before deciding. +175 doesn't look that great right now and there may be several Aldo props I would be willing to take or Mendes by decision at the right price.

Probably staying close to Evens with Rumble being a slight favorite in my opinion

    Maybe late money on local

I got in on Rumble at +105.. saw it at +130, but by the time I could put my bet in the line had dropped.

    Rumble's now at -125.

I got the opener. But only for slightly more than one unit. Ill admit I didn't really know how where the line would move on this one.

You'd have to think Rumble will play this fight similar to how he fought Dan Hardy, Belfort has bigger KO power and most lilkely be taken down repeatedly

doesn't sound like a good bet to me. if you like vitor, just take him straight. i don't see him getting a devastating KO in rd 1. maybe in the 2nd half of the fight.

disagree completely. Vitor has had a history of gassing

There are a couple areas of concern in which Franklin does have an advantage: Belfort is notorious for lacking elite cardio, possibly due to his level of muscle mass and training for speed and not stamina. Belfort's consistency is also in question; to say he's struggled with consistency throughout his career is a significant understatement. Finally, there's the concern of ring rust; Belfort has been inactive since late January, a layoff of more than 230 days.

I do not think he can get a KO in the 2nd half of the fight
