If Diaz were to win. Then it would be good underdog value to bet on him.

A pair of contests have been added to October's UFC 137 event, as Dennis Siver meets Sam Stout and Eliot Marshall faces Brandon Vera.

UFC officials today announced the matchups. MMAjunkie.com previously reported the Siver vs. Stout affair.

Diaz/GSP over 4.5 rounds? With how St. Pierre has been defending his title as of late he just seems to be dominating/controlling but not finishing. I think there could be good value in this.

Cerrone steps in for Stout against Siver. Really looking forward to this card the most, awesome fights and great money making opportunities. Aside from BJ Penn, gonna be big on Cerrone straight up and Siver by decision. Don't see Siver finishing Cerrone

Yeah seems like they feel bad for the beating Thiago Silva gave him and have given him the easiest guy on the roster in LHW division, who they have to give another fight to because he came in on short notice against Cane!

I agree. However, Diaz has good standup, I think this fight will be developed with GSP on top, working gnp. It will depend of the Diaz' cardio to know how far this fight goes.

Diaz has amazing cardio, I doubt tht will be the issue, I think length of fight may depend more on whether GSP can cut Diaz open enough with elbows and get a late stoppage.

I think value of diaz's boxing will be neutralized by gsp's strategy. He'll be outside with his jab and kicks, and throw few combinations....most being single shots. When he does get close it will be to clinch or shoot. Which is a shame cause I'd love to see diaz work his boxing against a game opponent but it won't happen here.

Yeah, dont see cardio being an issue for diaz. Dude runs triathlons in his spare time.

Not too dissimilar skillset to Diaz, plus GSP's trained with Condit so might feel more comfortably knowing what to expect and his weaknesses. Wonder what Jackson will do
