I lean Oliveira here and I do think that Wec lightweights are a bit overrated. Sure they can beat some bottom tier ufc guys but they aren't close to upper echelon. There's a reason they were in the wec.

Barely missed the +120, would have maxed him out at that price. Might hit the -140 for something smaller.

Hoping Bookmaker slips up as well.

agree and wouldn't be surprised if that's how aloe wins.

I like aloe in this one, should be really competitive and exciting. can't wait.

Cerrone is one of my favorite fighters, but I think Aloe Vera is going to be too much for him.

My sentiments as well... both parts. Though I'll be keeping an eye on line movement here, and have yet to make a play.

cerrone decision at +407. Best value. Buy it first, decide how to use it later.

I never seen Cerrone as an underdog.
I think it's a good bet for the value.

tough fotn call on a card with hardy/lytle and miller/henderson........i`m actually leaning hardy a bit.......i think his striking is much tighter than lytle`s....he just has to watch out for the wild shots....and stay off his back...

I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure he was both his fights with Varner.

For those who like Oliveira, do you think he can take Cerrone down? Or, does Cerrone willingly engage in a grappling matchup?

Already made a big play... maxed out Cerrone decision at +407 and +395
Now deciding whether using it to cover Oliveira straight, or play both sides.

Is it crazy that I'm thinking of betting this fight to be finished? I don't think Oliviera's aggressive style will lead to him accruing decisions, unless his opponent is real tentative, which Cerrone usually is not. Not even the decision monster Lentz could get to a decision.

I thought Cerrone looked pretty badass in his last fight. And he stated afterwards he was pissed that he didn't finish the fight.

He seems like a guy who will look to finish, which may also put him in danger of being finished himself.

Yeah, it's a battle of two exciting fighters that "Go for it." Usually LW fights end in decision, but I can see a finish here.

i think oliveira wins. i would def play oliveira straight. The speed advantage he holds over cerrone will be very evident. Its difficult to finish cerrone, but it may very well happen.

Being that its a favorite to not go the distance, I wouldn't say its crazy.

I'm not too surprised. People just looking up stats may think Oliveira is 0-2 in his last outings (including the no contest). And if they only watch Cerrone's last fight, they would have been really impressed.

I'm a huge Cerrone fan, but keep in mind that he looked badass in his last fight because he was facing a guy with no stand-up skills.

Not nearly as good as it was ~2 years ago. I couldn't tell you what the figure is, but this is a common misconception. Greg Jackson's results he's gotten given the level of the talent he works with in the past two years have been average at best, for every Condit there's a Jardine.

If this was back when Cerrone was a constant part of the WEC title picture, you'd be seeing the movement you expected, but everyone wants to find the next 'JBJ' type prospect at every weight class these days, young guys that haven't racked up huge numbers but are clearly talented and have major potential. I wouldn't be surprised to see this hit -145 or even -150 before it swings closer to -125, -130

    exactly...

I've never been too impressed with cerrone's stand up either. I think aloe is better anywhere this fight goes. I paid a price for him, played 2 unit bets at -145 and now he is -125... F'd up, but hopefully it won't matter and he gets the W. GL on this one.

    Congrats to any Cerrone backers.

All the best fighters seem to be from Greg Jackson's training camp.

    Cerrone, Guida, Jones, Evans etc...

The TKO finish caught me by surprise too. Cerrone's hands looked much improved, and that was some nice ground and pound he laced Oliveira with at the end.

Wow, I'm still shocked at how good Cerrone looked last night. I lost $ on Aloe Vera, but mad props to Cowboy for that impressive TKO!

Lost big on Cerrone as well. He looked mean striking and had great TD defence. You could tell early on Oliveria did not like taking those punches. After a few blasts from Cerrone, he became really tentative.
