NBA Playoffs, Kentucky Derby, Pacquiao Betting Review with Doc from Legends

Doc, the Head Linesman at Legends Sportsbook, gave an interesting interview last week about booking the NBA playoffs where he stated that a "4 and out" series is the best scenario for a playoff series for him.

Well last week of course, the Dallas Mavericks achieved a stunning "4 and out" sweep of the public favorite Lakers, and Doc is back to comment on how that series went for him.

Doc also touched on the other NBA playoff series, as well as the betting action for the Kentucky Derby and the Manny Pacquiao fight.

Thanks...for the next installment, can you ask Doc about the action that came in on the NBA playoff totals, and specifically whether the sharp money was on the under in most of the games between the Heat/Celts and Hawks/Bulls. Thanks.

I really like these interviews. Thanks both to Doc and Loshak for doing them, but...

Legends shouldn't be surprised that nobody "goes crazy" on boxing matches at their book. Legends hardly ever hangs lines on fights and when they do anybody who has access to any other book can always get a better line. Personally, I put thousands in action each month, and I bet boxing more than every other sport combined, but I feel like my balance is held hostage at Legends because the events I want to bet either don't have a line or have one that is worse than I can get elsewhere (and I'm not one of those guys who has money in 20 books at a time). It's too bad because as a Las Vegan I can assure you that many thousands of people do "go crazy" at the betting windows in Vegas every time Pacquiao fights, but I think Legends misses out by being so stingy on their boxing options, and I know I miss out by not being able to bet my favorite sport with them.

I don't know if either Doc or Loshak is interested, but myself I'd like to hear an interview on Legends' business model. They only hang lines on the most major of major market events and never seem to take an opinion. Why? To me, it seems like Legends is so afraid of bettors with ROIs like Billy Walters that they miss out on action from anyone who isn't a total drooler.

Again, I love the interviews, but I'm both interested and frustrated with the way Legends handles their business.
