Cuz those little Costa Rican’s have the mental capacity of a teenager and they think it is funny. They think it is so hilarious getting a rise out of a customer like they just split the atom and did something so scientific and amazing. If I’m wrong they don’t know how to properly do their job. Only other explanation is they wanted to steal it. Could only be one of those 3 things. Which is worse? Either way it is unacceptable.

Opti is the best. I knew Bovada screwed this up.

I sent another email and with proof now of their screw up. We'll see what happens? I told Opti if I collect the funds I will give him half. Finders fee ..

He was a big help whether I eventually get funded or not now. I appreciate it!!!

Thanks for the offer but not necessary.

SBR would not like me collecting tips for doing what they pay me for ;-)

After sending the proof (screen shot of bitcoin address NO SV BITCOIN) that Opti provided for me I now got this reply from Bovada CS (customer service). Same crap excuse. They still refuse to fund. I'm done with Bovada.

    Copy and Paste -

The blockchain link that they included in that message to you leads to a BTC wallet, not a BTC SV one.

Their link shows you are correct

Do you mind if we post the TX link so someone else can verify that it's not me being retarded?

Well, Calvin Ayre wants BSV to be the only cryptocurrency so I guess this is a way to do it one customer at a time. I didn’t even know books accepted the shitcoin BSV, I guess it makes sense for this group to though.

BSV is a hard fork of BCH (Bitcoin Cash) which is a hard fork of BTC

In other words, any BTC address has an identical address on the BSV (and BCH) blockchain

I don't know if that helps anyone here or not but seems there's some confusion about addresses being the same and I'm just pointing out that there can be identical BSV and BTC addresses that can receive their respective crypto on their respective blockchains

Go ahead and post what ever you want Opti on or about this transaction of mine at this point. It's not a huge amount of money but it's the principle of it that pisses me off. I've hyped up Bovada on SBR for years and never experienced this BS and run around before. A bit of a shocker to be honest.

Their customer service seems to employ very incompetent people from what I can tell.

I knew Bovada was experiencing fraud and what not as they mentioned it on the website in weeks past. So I kinda wrote it off as maybe that. Not the case though I don't think now. Just lies and incompetence.

I should specify, any BTC address in legacy format (in other words, non-segwit) will have an identical address on BSV blockchain

Here is why I believe Jibbby sent to a regular BTC address.

And here is the link Bovada gave Jibbby as proof he had sent to a BTC SV address: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/addre...sLm7yoqwcKKi3t

Can someone else who feels sure they understand this please confirm if you agree with me or not?

I don't know much about BSV or if they have a special format they use for their addresses but that address just looks like a regular BTC address in legacy format (begins with 1 or 3)

So that address should be able to receive both BTC and BSV. Just need a different wallet for each

You guys wanna good laugh? Bovada CS just sent me this email a few minutes ago referring to a guy named Walter. My name is John. I'm just laughing now at this point. Copy and paste below -

What is up with Bovada CS these days? This is nuts. It's like a copy and paste email I received yesterday. Almost word for word to a guy named Walter. This is getting comical. Sad though if this happening to other people other then myself now.

    webforms@bovada.lv

    Hi Walter,

Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.

We hope you are having a good day!

Unfortunately we cannot locate the address of the deposit that you are referring, in this case [cid:19dddae7-fdc5-47eb-993b-6410da17afa0]

You were also advised that upon checking further and verify your account I was able to see that the address generated by the system at the time of making the deposit was an address for BTC SV and if I'm not mistake you sent in regular BTC.

If you require further assistance or have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We're available to help 24/7 if you need anything else.

    Thanks,

    Bovada Customer Service

I was with Bovada for almost 10 years now or so. I liked Bovada for MMA props and live betting. Never got screwed, they always paid out also. Bitcoin deposits never a problem in the past.

I'm on half a dozen other books or so and I'm not sweating it. What ever. I will shut down my Bovada account in a week if not funded and move on. I can't trust that book anymore after this.

I did look over the Litecoin history today and compared it to the Bitcoin history and Litecoin is performing slightly better of late, most books take it. I'm in!! I transferred a bunch of bitcoin over to Litecoin today in my coinbase account. I'm on board with litecoin now.

Thanks for the Litecoin tip fellas. I was a little late to that party.
