I really don't think bitcoin will go any higher. Of course most people here think it will go to hundreds of thousands of dollars but I doubt it. Who knows? It's just a gamble.

It's a great time to be alive to have a chance at a legal gamble like this.

I wouldn't mind some life changing money, but I live pretty simply so 30k would also be a fun amount to do some extra fun stuff with too. Ending up with neither would feel like a bummer now.

I’m in the same boat as well. Ive been holding out as long as i can and haven’t sold this whole time any profits. Seems like nothing positive is happening lately to push it higher, then this new variant pops up out of nowhere right on time to stir everything up. This bull run may be over people and I’m seriously considering taking a good portion off on the sideline for any opportunities that come will come up.

Looks like we are bouncing off bottom of the trading channel, a hard bounce into tomorrow will send everything up, if not we could nuke hard, should be an interesting week, December seasonality is particularly strong

Just want to mention that even with the downtick on metaverse tokens, if tokens were bought on the 23rd everyone, would be up or close to even. If you wait a few days to jump in on a token, you're setting yourself up for buying at peak. Even if bought at peak, those prices will return but we don't know how long it'll take. Monkeyball IDO is the next one that will hit but it's really complicated to get in to and will take a lot of YouTube work to figure out. The IDO price is .04 and this will double immediately if you're able to get on the whitelist.

We had a record high of near 4% first quarter of this year but it dropped back to about 3% last quarter and predicted to be about 2.5% this quarter.

One trik, that's some sweet cash.

And you're right. I don't even think Saylor would argue that he knows optimal entry/exit points.

One interesting angle on Bitcoin is summing up all the Super-whales!

If Saylor/MicroStrat indeed have 121,000 BTC, that's approaching 0.6% of the ULTIMATE supply. SUPPOSEDLY, the real Satoshi holds 1.0Mill BTC. Start adding up the Winklevoss twins etc.

If you deduct a portion of lost-coins, it's possible that the top five global holders will be hoarding close to 10% of available supply.

Bad entry or not. Big HODLer thinking 30k is a safe floor inspires a little extra confidence for me.

    Opti, my two cents:

*If you gave me bet on biggest Top-to-Trough dropdown in 2022...I'd take under 40% at +100 Even $$.

Just feel like the huge pull-backs are over. Less volatility now, less dramatic dips.

yes cashed out no problems. I got sick and lost about 75% back playing live baccarat. I have to keep my gambling bankroll separate from the coins. Good way to get cleaned quickly.

Not up for a bet about it. But I think you are a bit optimistic there.

When the USDT scam unravels we will see more than 50% drop initially I would guess. Maybe more.

Will be the best buy opportunity we get next year I think.

I want to cash out half early after new year and HODL the fiat until it happens then buy back in.

i think it depends on what price ends up being the ultimate top of this cycle but i would be shocked if the drop is less than 50% from there. We just had a 50% pullback in a bull market and if you haven't been through a crypto bear market already believe me they can be slit your wrists brutal. I think it is most likely we see more than a 50% drop from the high but of course calling the top is impossible

What did you already forget like everyone else what happened in May during this bullrun which was about 6 months ago? It went from 64k to 28k in a matter of weeks. What do you think can happen at the end of a bull run beginning of a bear market? Sorry bro just got to let u know the truth because thats when things get messed up. And from what I can see is when everyone is saying to buy and there is no way it can go down "like right now" thats when you should be on full alert.

MACD is a bit of a lagging indicator but the MACD DAILY bullish crosses have been great buy signals in the past The bearish crosses don't work nearly as well as sell signals though. We are very close to a bullish 1D cross.Last bullish daily cross with confirmation was Oct 1 btc price was $43000.

BITCOIN The MACD cross that SHOULD and SHOULD NOT happen! - #BTCUSD chart on @TradingView

My last analysis on Bitcoin was the chart on the left, where I talked about the important of the Underlying Pivot line. As you see, despite the rise during the weekend, the price got rejected today exactly on the Underlying Pivot , displaying once more why it is critical to the trend.

Today however I want to bring forward the critical role that the MACD is playing both on the 1D and 1W time-frames. The chart on the left is on the 1D while the chart on the right is on the 1W time-frame.

On 1D, it would be a huge bullish development if the MACD makes the Bullish Cross that is close to form. Last time a MACDBullish Cross took place below the 0.00 line on the 1D time-frame, was on September 30, exactly when the October rally started.

On 1W, BTC should avoid the Bearish Cross that is close to form, as last time that took place was on March 22, shortly before the market top at the time. However even if the Bearish Cross takes place, a fractal from September 2020 may save the day, as long as it stays flat. As you see on the chart, even though at the time the MACD lines crossed each other, they stayed flat as BTC traded on the Pivot line from the previous High above the 1D MA50 (blue trend-line) for a whole month before the aggressive 5 month parabolic rally started.

Onetrick your charts are good and on point (thanks for the time, I like to read them) but if your not taking into account where we are on the full 4 year chart these things are very hard to work right now. I don't know how any chart could work for that matter so deep into this cycle and where we are today, from experience is that something always happens around this time. So far only one has been completely accurate to date and that is the long term halving cycle chart. Honestly just expect that anything can happen right now good or bad, then plan that way.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on this. I'll stick w/ my opinion. I've tracked how the Volatility is a good bit lower now.

Let's track it after 12/31 and thru 2022 Cal Yr. Note the Top and any draw-downs to Trough. I don't the dip will be > 40%:

*If/when I'm wrong, I'll pay out 200 pts (5x40) to some of the posters in here.

Opti, don't feel bad about taking Profits. Nobody knows FOR SURE what the future holds.

As long as you keep a little skin in the game, I think you're good. I've been taking some small profits myself...and will take a little more if we go up about 5% more.
