First want to start off saying Happy new year everyone! Im a new member I've been depositing through ** and its getting ridiculous.

I want to start depositing via bitcoin but I had some questions. If someone could help me id so appreciate guys.

1.I created a coinbase account that i verified with my bank account and my debit card. Is there anything else I need to do?
2.How long does it take to buy bitcoins for my first time? How long does it take usually? Should I buy through my checking account or my debit card?
3.Once I buy the coins and its in my coinbase account how long does it take to send to my wallet?
4.How long does it take to send funds from my wallet to my sportsbook?

All these questions are ETAs. My big question how long does it take to buy bitcoins for the first time I read somewhere it takes days?! And how should I buy them debit card or checking account any of them quicker?

If you are verified at Coinbase you can buy a few hundred by card instantly.

Or you can use ACH bank transfer which takes 5 business days to be cleared for transfer out of Coinbase.

Or you can choose wire which is generally credited over night.


Sending from coinbase to your wallet and from your wallet to your book happens instantly but confirmations the tx is good can take several hours.

AFAIK the coins should appear almost instantly after card buy.

They have good phone support now. Well, it takes a long time on hold to get them but once you do all reports are they are excellent.

I read that the first time you buy coins then send it to your wallet it takes days? Is this true?
Would u reccomend any wallets? I seem to forgot my blockchain pw

The only delay is if you deposit from your bank by ACH. Which always takes 5 days until they allow you to send anything away from Coinbase.

If you bought with a card you should be able to transfer now. And it should take hours at the most, probably much less time. Not days.

I use the electrum.org desktop wallet myself.

But it's fine to just make a new blockchain.info/wallet account too. Only takes a few seconds. I'd also make sure you write down the 12 word seed phrase this time if you do that. So you can always get access back, password or not.
