No! Number one issue is that the bitpay invoice cancels after time and if theres a delay you are screwed and number 2 why even chance get card canceled its the best thing ever! makes it like your in Vegas everyday payouts at any time...

There is like 80000 unconfirmed transactions today. Normally it's like 2000. All you can do is wait. It took me 16 hours. Isn't Bitcoin great? I could fuking mail the money and I would get it faster.

80000 is amazing. Guess I won't be seeing my money for another couple of days. Wished I had switched to litecoin and cashed out that way.

Yeah this crap pisses me off because wasn't the whole reason behind the last fork or whatever to fix the congestion and make transactions faster? Apparently that didn't work out too well. Frustrating.

I personally would always use a middle man airbitz, bread, blockchain any or others then send just in case as losing the card over a direct transfer issue would be horrible

Yes, I prefer Bitpay's wallet to Blockchain.info for the simple reason that you can open as many new wallets as you want at Bitpay with just a couple clicks. That makes it much harder for any sportsbook or IRS agent or governmental actor to use frequency analysis to penetrate your anonymity.

Also, Bitpay's fees update more often than Blockchain's, which should help you avoid a situation like the one you're in where you probably sent "normal" fees, but Blockchain hadn't updated its fees to reflect the massive blockchain congestion associated with BTC's spike, so your "normal" fees were actually well below most folks'.

To avoid delays, you can always send higher than recommended fees and cut straight to the head of the line, regardless of how many transactions are in the mempool.

If you use Blockchain.info, just check what their max recommended fees are, then double that number, then tell them to go jump in a lake when they object cuz you're setting your fees "too high," then Bob's your uncle.
