So my poker backer is going to be sending me some money soon upon my request. I want to ask how I go about receiving the bitcoins and then converting them to cash? I believe I create an online wallet, have him send the money there, and then what? BTW anything about max protection and protecting myself from variance would be helpful. I don't want to hold any bitcoin, just receive and cash if possible. Thank you.

I've also read about getting a bitcoin debit card. Any advice on these?
