That's the fluctuation in price. It is like using an internet stock as currency. You can't let it sit for even 15 minutes if you can help it. Like I said, there are some ugly surprises along the way.

It has moved in the range 1250 to 1270 in the last few hours.

You'll probably have 1020 pounds by morning.

You can set blockchain to send a text when you receive. That way you can transfer quick to avoid price movements.

I got clobbered on my transfers into Bookmaker. Not sure how they value bitcoin. It may be different than how blockchain values.

That works out to like a 1% fee. It is most likely price movements during send, or they base off a different price when they send. Sometimes it works in your favor. I sent from Blockchain to heritage multiple times and had extra money on the switch.

That's good to know. That's why I got slammed with them. I had blamed it on Coinbase. They are bad enough.

And places charge more money for checks that take three weeks to get there. People outside the US are completely spoiled when it comes to transactions.

I meant in the regards to being upset about a 1% fee. I'm glad to pay it, beats a 350 max p2p with a 20$ fee anyday.

No, bitcoin is easy enough. I don't tend to convert to USD though, I haven't as of yet. I have just gone book to book to get the bonuses.
