    Fantastic review!

To the newbies, it probably sounds complicated, but after doing it once or twice you'll wonder why you took so long to get involved.

Grabbed a payout from a bitcoin ATM. You can start the process from your phone or laptop before arriving at the ATM (BTM). Took about an hour to clear the network. Showed up with my confirmation code, left with cash. Easy peasy.

This may not be the best place to ask this question, but I'll give it a shot ...

BTP pays out in bitcoin. I have no bitcoin setup at all. What would be the process for receiving the bitcoin payout and then depositing that into a book?

if I read the tutorial right, I just need a block chain account, right? (I'll deal with the payout later.)

    Thanks

Correct, you could just have SBR send to your Blockchain wallet and you should be good to go. As you alluded to though, you may want to open an account at Coinbase to in case you cash out from book. Flow would be Book > Blockchain > Coinbase > Bank.

Thanks guys and galls for this.I min the top 100 of BTP with one week to go so I could possibly win some green so I signed up. Even thought my first bitcoin deposit wont be approved from my bank until jan 4th, I should be good to go to get any BTP winnings from SBR since my blockchain and coinbase are all set up right?

That's correct...you can use both wallets to send and receive coins without making a single deposit.

Dumb question... I have Airbitz with Glidera. I'm all verified.

So all I'm doing is transferring money out of my bank account into my wallet and then I'm sending it out from there?

Is this a first deposit delay or do they suggest that's the normal delay to fund that way?

LOL Yes I thought this bitcoin deal was instant too! I wanted to buy 1 bitcoin for around a grand, but the first buy from Coinbase only allowed me $250 from my bank account (yes even with the instant verification! I confirmed the 2 small deposit amounts into my bank account immediately.)

So then I bought $249 worth of bit coin, and Coinbase says it will be in my account on JAN 11th!

LOL So much for the "instant" bull-crap!! I haven't seen anyone post or talk about the long wait on the FIRST bitcoin buy!

I wish I would have known that! Now I have to wait 9 days before I can even sell it and get an ACH back to my bank account!

    Blow and Blue,
Coinbase is like being in elementary school with all their rules and limits AND extremely high commissions. But they are still good to learn the ropes and they are secure and real.

Once you have graduated BTC elementary you should open an account at Bitfinex or Bitstamp. Bitfinex is quite a bit less costly than Bitstamp. There are no limits and you get a true price when you buy/sell and the commission is only $1.5 per BTC versus Coinbase which scalps you about $2 worse than market price and charges about $10 per BTC commission.

Thanks dick-face, you didn't know how to do it either at first Einstein. But I'm glad to see you are in the "High School" of Bitcoin! LOL

Like I tell the golfers that I teach, even Jack Nicklaus wasn't any good at golf before he learned.

    Blow,
I think the info was meant to be helpful only. Coinbase has some advantages such as buying when you don't have any money pre loaded in your account. Can't do that with Bitfinex/Bitstamp.

But Coinbase is super expensive and they will ask for all kind of things if you do some larger transactions.

Onto golf, pissed my local teaching pro off when I went to the Dave Pelz short game school. But it has really helped. Still cant get the bump and run chip though.

    Hi joe,

Coinbase is the easiest to use option to buy and sell bitcoin for Americans but ACH purchases take 5 working days to post the bitcoin to your account. Withdrawals however will get back to your bank account in just 2 working days. If you wanted to go for a more advanced exchange like some members suggested, an international wire can get to a BitStamp in as little as 1 business day depending the banking route involved.

Your limits would be incrementally increased through Coinbase as you buy more bitcoin.

    Thank you for your feedback
