    Did I make a mistake?

So I had bitcoin in a Betcoin.ag account. I decided I wanted to use a different book so I transferred my bitcoin from betcoin account to cloudbet.

And as I suspected, it wasn't going to go through. I should've transferred them back to paxful or coinbase then to cloudbet.

Are book to book bitcoin transfers not allowed? Because I haven't gotten anything yet. My betcoin account says it's confirmed and it took the bitcoin out but there has been no movement on cloudbet. Blockchain also has no movement when I entered the cloudbet address.

What should I do ? Thanks

    Hi sdh044,

How long ago did you make the transfer? Shouldn't be any issue going from one payment address to another, though there's an upside in being more organized to go to an intermediary wallet like a Blockchain.info. It's not advisable to go from the sportsbook to Coinbase for privacy reasons.

You are allowed to go direct but as you have found out it leaves you out of the loop if anything goes wrong.

There are system wide delays right now so there is probably nothing wrong, just delayed.

yea it ended up going through. was just a bit delayed. I am new to bitcoin books and bitcoin transactions in general. First few went through in minutes so this last one that was going on an hour was alarming me. Thanks for the tips.

You can check on the progress of a transaction by going to https://blockchain.info/ and then pasting the adress you sent the coins to in the search field. You can check there if the transaction has any confirmations and you also get an estimate on the time it may take to go through. Some sites require 1 confirmation for the coins to "arrive", while others may require 3 or 6.
