Looking for Help purchasing $1000 worth of bitcoins

I didn't realize there was a $300 add limit when opening an account with Circle.

Is there any way for me to purchase $1000 worth of bitcoins today via debit card?

I would like to get the funds into my sportsbook as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance.

I see there is a bitcoin ATM not too far from me. Might this be my only option?

Am I able to go to the ATM and purchase the bitcoins via debit card? Does it automatically give me a wallet? Please let me know how this process works.

A lot of time there are limits, especially with debit card. Bank account usually has higher limits

Each machine has different rules but you should be able to get at least $1000 at most instantly.

Yes, you will need a wallet to receive the coins into.

Open one at blockchain.info/wallet before you go.

A Liberty Reserve outlet is another way to get them over the counter instantly.

ATM will let you purchase up to 2500 or up to 9999, but you have to buy it with cash.. not debit card. You need to create a wallet at block chain first before heading out to the ATM. Hope this help.

Each atm is different but from my experience I have seen some that accept plastic. Also EVERY atm I've used will spit out a paper wallet (cold wallet) for free so you don't need to set up a wallet before you go, I would recommend it but it isn't necessary to buy from an atm.

I appreciate the replies. I was able to purchase the bitcoins via cash at the nearest bitcoin ATM.

Generated my own wallet at blockchain.info, scanned wallet address, then deposited bills into machine. Funds were deposited to the wallet immediately. I then deposited the BTC to my sportsbook account and now I'm waiting for the confirmation.

Overall a very smooth process. I'll update when the funds are confirmed to be in the account.

    Thanks again.

I found the one I use on here https://coinatmradar.com . They collect the phone numbers and send out alerts when new machines arrive nearby ( If you use phone # to purchase they have that info. Some let you buy with govt id ). Also when you convert from btc to usd they send you messages when the transaction is confirmed and ready for pickup. All of the machines I've used are from the same maker which I rather not say the name brand.. I once had an issue when converting from btc to usd and I sent an email to the one listed on the front of the machine.. got a call and email back within 10 minutes.. company based out of California. Big money maker for the businesses that offer an atm.

Deposit confirmation received. The confirmation process took under 3 hours.

I used coinatmradar.com to locate the ATM, though I will look into libertyx for BTC purchases under $1k if it's cheaper. I believe I was charged 5% in fees using the ATM.

Very pleased, and once again thanks to all.

This is true, the ATM fees do seem to be higher. But looking at libertyx, you're only allowed to purchase $200 worth of BTC without identification.

The ATM's only need a cellphone number for purchases from $1-$9999, so choosing a method depends on what your privacy is worth to you.

Same here, was like 1 or 2 weeks

AS for doing it TODAY local bitcoins and even better option Paxful. With paxful you can buy an amazon gift card and use it on the site to get Bitcoin. It will cost you more than a service like Circle but if you can't wait it's a good option, they take every type of payment for bitcoin you can think of, including gift cards.

that sucks. I heard a podcast with them and they seemed like cool guys with a successful business, they were even turning down venture capital because they didn't need the money. It ws pretty entertaining, talking about how when backpages stopped taking cc's and only took bitcoin all the escorts started callign them and asking how to get "bitty coin" and even though they didn't know the name of the coin he'd take the time to help them. Here's the podcast:

A site I never tried, but read a press release and sounded like a version of paxful that "automated" the process for sellers, could be scammy I have no idea never tried them and know nothing else about them besides what I read in the press release, here's the press release I read:

Please note that additional fees will be charged, on top of the above
Bitcoin / $ rate at checkout. Those fees are as follows:
    - Bitcoin.com 2.5%
    - Credit card processing by Simplex 5% ($10 minimum)
    So 7.5%

    Looks convenient though
