coinbase is a wallet , but it takes days to verify if you are using your bank account, maybe it is instant if you use debit.

i think you need to find a bitcoin atm that sells bitcoin for your cash, i think you still need to link your account to get your winnings tho, maybe the experts can chime in

Lots of people who consider themselves tech illiterate have managed to work it out. It's actually quite simple to just get signed up and receive/send your first payment. You can mange it. Are you looking at the correct page on their site? blockchain.info/wallet/

Alternatively, you are able to get a receive address from the book you want to deposit at... and give that bitcoin address to the book you want to withdraw from, to send to the other book directly.

This is not a great idea in general in case anything goes wrong and you can't see anything about the transaction. But if its a once off maybe that is simplest for you.

i swear i attempted to set up an account there, a few weeks ago and very unsuccessful. tried again yesterday to create a new 1 or use the last 1 i set up. no go.

i have thought of your idea but feels too risky if there is an issue. besides blockchain, do u reccomend another for me oiptimal? i am gonna look at localbitcoins right now

Localbitcoins is not a wallet or place you should be using as a middle man. In fact I think Circle specificaly bans you from using any exchange like that, which allows you to convert btc directly with other end users.

As Catch suggested, Airbitz is another popular one around here. And is recommended in the webinars. I have not used it so not certain how easy but as its a phone app it probably is simple.

I used local bitcoin (before i saw u said not to use as a middle man) and all is good for this transaction. (i am already banned from circle, only place i had previously used bitcoin). Can you please explain to me why I SHOULD NOT use localbitcoins in the future? thank you

The only reason you need to avoid localbitcoins is if you are a Circle user.

    From their User Agreement;

You cannot use your Circle account to (i) buy bitcoin for sale to individuals through peer-to-peer brokerage services or unregistered exchanges (such as LocalBitcoins, Craigslist, eBay or similar websites

You asked if you should use it as an alternative to Blockchain Wallet as a middle man wallet. This is why I said it was a bad idea.

It has proven to be a reliable independent wallet only solution that does not interfere with your transactions and 'seems' to work as a middle to make your transactions less noticeable.

Many people here use it so it is also easy to get advice on how particular things work there.

But I am sure Airbitz is just as good for the purpose. It's not a critical thing. Any independent wallet is probably fine. But Localbitcoins is not an independent wallet. It's a person to person trading community.

Circle and Coinbase will ban you if they detect you are using bitcoin for gambling.

I don't know but doubt it.

They cant really object to anything you did before agreeing to their terms.

Man you're making this way more complicated than necessary. All you have to do is create a blockchain.info wallet. It takes 5 minutes max to sign up, verify your email and set up backup password in case you ever get locked out. It's probably the easiest wallet to sign up for, very limited info needed, just email and password. After you verify email you can use it immediately. Then withdraw from book 1 to blockchain. Once money is in blockchain, deposit at book 2. Done. People do this type of thing all the time. Idk why you're making it so difficult on yourself. The hardest part about what you wanna do is waiting on the sportsbook to pay you, which can take several hours/days depending on which book you're using. Everything else is so simple. I've been transitioning to using BTC only books cause they payout almost instantly. Some of the traditional books can take up to a full day or longer sometimes to pay.
