    Issue with circle.com (bitcoin)

For a year + I have been withdrawing from my books to blockchain. They transfer blockchain to circle. Then I just transfer to one of the bank accounts I have linked. Last few weeks I have done 12 transfers to my bank account and I did 2 today and 1 late last night. Now I get an email stating that they failed? So I login to try and transfer again and I got this message when pressing sell bitcoin.

We need to check a few things.

We need to take some additional time to review your account. We're sorry for the delay. You will receive an email from Circle when your account is ready. This process typically takes 3-5 business days.

Now keep in mind I do a handful of transactions (atleast) every week, so it is now like this is new. Also, I have gotten emails from circle asking where I sent the funds etc.

So what can the issue be? Am I screwed?

What other wallets can you link your bank account to and withdrawal funds?

I got reviewed a long time ago but it all was fine. I guess they didn't think I was using it for gambling purposes? No clue. Never happened again.

Scared the shit out of me.

I am VERY new to this form of withdraw so this might be dumb question. Lets say I do a withdraw from 5Dimes to my Blockchain acct. Once the bitcoin arrives I can then transfer this amt to my Neteller acct? Is there a support email for Blockchain?

I liked the idea that they hold funds in USD. When I tried to add my debit card they came back with we don't accept prepaid debit cards. Well, duh, what other kind is there - debit cards tied to your checking account are actually check cards! Maybe, a paypal card fits the definition of what they feel is an acceptable debit card.

So, I get this - we are checking things out message as well, been 3 days now, everything is frozen for deposits and withdrawals. I have not even done one transaction with them. This is like breaking into Fort Knox.

In my case - I have sent 5 messages - they write back and say - nothing is blocked - should work. I have used different computers - different wi fi connections - nothing works. This place gives me very little confidence that they know what they are doing or care.

Once we fund blockchain - or we could even have a friend send us 5 figures to our block chain - is Circle worthless as an exchange if they are so fussy? I thought they would be useable to deposit money into blockchain and then find other ways to get money out. Doesn't appear to be so - small thing like this - their customer service is garbage - talking to them is virtually impossible from a hold standpoint.

Apparently, they are very tight with blockchain and can find out what we spend our money on - I did not think that was possible - it was secure by that point from scrutiny - maybe we have to dance through two wallets???

Circle added the US dollar wallet because they want you to hold money with them. So I would not do a withdrawal from your account every time you deposit to Circle. Hold it at Circle. Lessen the number of transactions you are doing. If you are only "using" them, they are going to look closer at your activity.

The result for me was I emailed them stating I was trying to send to bank account. Next morning they said it was a glitch and everything has been fine with those 4 transfer and a few more after that.

I've never been reviewed by either Coinbase or Circle. I now have a 3k limit at Circle. I highly recommend their DEB CRD feature. Wow! Instant and cheap bitcoins.

The one thing I've done so far.... I always have a new address every time I'm going from Circle/Coinbase to my wallet. Never send from there to your same btc address/wallet. Secondly, I haven't used coinbase or circle at anytime to sell my coins. Never once had any weird emails from them.... or anything... Also, I only avg 1 transaction a month using either or. So I rarely use it. Keep funds with other books. Only get a PO when you need one.

I've deposited about 6-8 times a month with coinbase over the last year using debbt card which suck cuz they charge $9 off a 250 deposit but circle won't accept my debbt card and I'm not waiting 4 days nor using localbitcoins to get instant coins.

Anyways I've always sent from coinbase to the same block chain address without issue. I cashout with circle cuz it's free and the exchange rate is higher. I've always sent from same block chain address to circle and cashed out also without issue. I keep my circle currency in btc not usd

    blockchain question

When I get paid from sportsbooks I get a new address under receive money. So I would have different wallet addresses and would give me a total amount at the top.

They have changed the look of their wallets on me. Before lets say my balance was 10K and I wanted to transfer 8K to my circle to get to my bank account I would just send it. It would take money from the different addresses together and send all at once.

Today I went to go transfer to circle and it was just not taking a lump sum from all the wallets. I had to transfer from different addresses into one to get to circle.

So this cost me fees in transferring. How can I see a large sum without doing the transfers and paying the fees now?

Got mine cleaned up - am worried they just have one person on customer service - anyway - when you add an unsupported debit card - it creates the checking things out message. In essence they are not checking anything out as it will never work and just tie up the system. You have to go to settings and remove it. Which, if they would have told me two weeks ago I would not have been irritated.

The key is getting somebody on the phone. Seems to work fine now. I guess, I have no intention of using circle to get money back - smells like that is where all the scrutiny comes in. Maybe, as long as I do not ever take more money out from Circle than I have put in???

Even though you have your Circle account set to USD - it can still be hacked right? All unregulated - the fees do not seem to have much margin - wonder if they can make any money and stay in business?

Damn, so I just added debit to Circle and it's been two hours. Basically, it's never going to go through then?

Well they said it failed, so at least I know that's not gonna work. This BTC stuff is a pain.

Can't just send money and have it there these days. Obnoxious. Probably saving me money, but I'm not dealing with this shit. I'll just go blow it at the casino.

Trying that. Can't get them to verify my ID. Stuff never ends. Getting frustrated. Years ago I would have smashed things by now. Can't get my phone to enable flash player so trying to hold up my ID in front of a webcam isn't working I guess. I don't know what more they need. I can barely read the back, how am I supposed to take a damn clear picture of it.
