    Cloudbet doesn't understand runline rules

I bet on the cardinals -1.5 for in Friday's game in cloudbet and youwager; the game was suspended after 7 innings, therefore, this game should of been no action. Youwager refunded me back the money, however, cloudbbet waited until the next day until the rest of the game was played out. The Cardinals ended up losing and graded me a loss. Since I can't contact them via phone, I have sent numerous emails and no one has gotten back to. Hopefully this post will get their attention.

Looking at their sportsbook rules it clearly says under baseball that events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified.

Really?? If that is the case, I'm finished with them. If this rule is standard for every other sportsbook but them, I would highly they change the rules, or nobody use this book for baseball.

What do you mean? Re-read Dagg's post. Their rules seem consistent with USA facing books, saying "events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified". Seems clear cut all plays on game should be refunds.

Okay then I have a legitimate complaint. They need to refund me. This is why I hate using books where I have to rely on emailing to get in touch with them.

Look at the below response. This guy doesn't under that the game was suspended in the 7th inning, not postponed until the next day.

This bet has been settled in accordance with our sportsbook rules. To learn more about the terms & conditions for postponed or cancelled games please see our baseball rules here: https://www.cloudbet.com/en/sportsbook_rules

    Specifically:

For pre-live baseball, "If an event is postponed by more than 48 hours, all wagers will be void."

For live baseball, "If a match is interrupted or cancelled and won't be continued on the same day, all undecided markets are considered void."

    Straight from their rule book

If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Wagers will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified.

They have now voided the bet, after I had to explain to them their own rules. At least it's over with now. See below

With apologies, that previous rule I quoted applies only to playoff games. The pertinent rule is:

"If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Wagers will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day unless otherwise specified."

As this is an unusual case - where a non-playoff game is completed on the next day - we have void your bet.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with.
