I think you're way off base, Thad. How many points do you think Carseller owes right now? Grand total....
Back in September/October, Carseller owed about 1500 points and was only paying off 6 points at a time because he wasn't getting any new loans. I don't keep up with his day-to-day activities, but I believe he currently is in the 1500-2000 points owed range. You are right, that he has gotten a lot more loans recently than ever before. He has also paid off a lot more than ever before. I keep my exposure to what I am comfortable with, and I assume other lenders do likewise. Its not like Carseller isn't upfront about the situation when he asks for more loans.

I have been stiffed out of larger amounts than Carseller owes me from people with perfect credit histories and only no loans besides mine outstanding. There is no such thing as a safe loan - every loan risky. I understand the risks of lending to Carseller and limit him/set rates appropriately to those risks. If someone is being careless and doesn't understand the risks of loaning, well they could certainly do worse than giving Carseller another loan.

    Whatever dude,

Maybe you should tell SBR not to let new people signup then.

Only your opinion counts right? Or at least only those who have been here as long as you?

Leaning on 'posting experience' as an argument is just pretty funny in my opinion

    haha,

Not going to argue with you anymore because it's just what you want. Having someone who bashes everyone call me names isn't a big deal anyways.

And also, no thanks to you, I don't lose money I'm not a pro, but I win more than I lose. I still have trouble staying off my home teams sometimes, but oh well

I took a look at some loan threads of his and you aren't close. He owes a LOT more than that.

Maybe I have to spell it out again.

Carseller is taking out many, many, many, many, many loans. He has to pay interest on those loans. He's placing bets with those points in which vig is involved. Unless he's hitting 75% with his bets, this will end very badly.

Not a ponzi scheme. Simply rewarding lenders for dealing with me. They are making out great. This also gives me great options in the future. If you notice....not one lender has come in here wondering what's up.....not one claiming I am past due. I'm sure a few are having second thoughts on the next bump.......but there is no need to worry. I have never stiffed in the past and won't in the future. In fact stiffs are encouraged by SBR, but a multiple borrower is frowned upon.....No PM's for me is the proof.

FYI: I sell cars, but you would have never guessed that on your own. The giveaway would have been my poster name....Carseller4.

Bet real money? How the hell did I get SBR Pro if I didn't bet real money?

I'll spend a bit of time here also, Bates......to prevent more from falling victim to this ponzi scheme. Been a while since I paid any attention to the points forum. Exposing Madcapper as a mad point scammer was my last regular visits.

It's sad to see these selfish pricks owed points by Carseller vouching for his integrity. They know what's going on but they just want the ponzi to continue so they'll get paid.

That's right; no points in his SportsBook account and none in his wallet. Sickler and I told you guys but you would not listen.

BP - answer honestly: if anyone has the audacity to poke their nose into your business, you go ballistic and call them every name under the sun, yet you feel free to do the same thing and then attack the recipients if they disagree with you - true or false ...

not sure what your angle is here, you trying to force a "run on the bank" as it were with regards to him or ?

Plz stop with the 'high and mighty' routine towards new members, I've dealt with matt loanwise and we have a bit of banter back and forth on nearly a daily basis, he's of more value to this place than 90% of the newbies joining in the last three months ... some/many newbies are indeed useless additions to the forums, but I dont recall you being appointed 'official weeding out' committee head, or did I miss a newsletter recently?

Ive been here a couple of months longer than you have, so all you'll be able to do is play the 'you are not a pro' card with me, which I've already knocked on the head in frizz's dodgy bet with jessica thread, so don't bother with that angle ...

Carseller4 has a loan with me. It is probably a 5th or 6th one in a row. So far, I only had positive experiences with him. I started him on a 50pt level and only after he cycled through them 4 times I moved up to a 100pt level. He paid one and he is currently on a second one. I think it is great to point out that he does have a lot of outstanding loans - and every lender should definitely do their research before lending - this applies to any borrower, not only carseller4. Use common sense... if a person has a 100pt loan with you and 2000 in outstanding loans... you should require that he pays his 100pt loan before you do any bumping. I personally never bump.

Carseller4 has been running through loans for at least a few months now from what I've observed. Generally stiffs take out a few loans and run. Ponzi schemers would try to get maybe 10k pts, take out some rewards or SB cash and run. This doesn't seem to be the case - as CS4 will not get up to such high levels of points to make it all worth - because he actually pays off his previous loans. At this you yell PONZI - yet he is not getting 500+ loans left and right. He's getting ~100+ loans and he's cycling through them. If he ponzied, wouldn't there already be a line of people yelling that he stiffed them?

As ThadB pointed out - there were much "cleaner" looking borrowers, even SBR Pros who come, take one loan and run for the hills. And there's no way to get those points back as they place you on ignore in their PMs and they never return to the Points forum.

While it's great that you guys point out what every lender should know - that people should definitely do their research before parting with their points... maybe instead of this witch hunt - your time would be better spent hunting down people who have actually already stiffed. All it takes is just one look at the Stiff report.

Thanks for the support chachi I've had nothing but good experiences with you too (except before you have your coffee j/k). Our thread has taken on a lot more than just loans/paybacks.

jairocon - I think you spelled it out perfectly. To each his own. Personally, whether CS4 ever gets another loan or not, I'm confident he'll come through on the points he owes me.

Don't care if I get banned for this...

Going to say this one last time. CARSELLER4 is running a ponzi scheme taking out multiple loans WITHOUT having any capital to pay them back. He got another 75 betpoints loan today, paid 6 to a lender and put the rest in his Sportsbook account.

Don't you people realize he is UNDERWATER and trying to gamble his way back.

Guy has ZERO points and owes a ton.

How many people can he pay back at 12 a day? Not many...

Come SBR you are better than this.
