It's a good idea to check both places (Stiff report and credit report) and to do a search using the prospective borrower's name. JerseyStiff is one of the most hated shitstain stiffs around here. He is exactly the bad apple that ruins things for everyone. I blame poor parenting. I can't know for sure, of course, but there has to be some reason why someone would end up so devoid of ethical and moral fiber. He was laughed off the point forum the last several times he tried to get one there, so he had to switch to PM to find another victim. The chances that this second account he got banned for wasn't him = 0.001%.

Yah, the stiff/credit reports are now 2 months out of date. Sadly, MexicanStallion is no longer updating them - probably doesn't have the time to do it anymore. Jersey was reported in the stiff thread a while ago, but the report itself hasn't been updated since then. Personally, I always do a search on the poster's point history - I filter it to only show transactions above 20 or 50 or whatever points to find any loans and then change the filter to show all transactions heading to the lender.
