    Mostly, so why not just renew for 1,500 anyways, that's what I did. Plus, if you entered that NCAA contest, I'm guessing you'd need to be Pro to cash any winning tickets.

    Well you can save 15 seconds and not fill in the form to renew with 1500 points, lose all your points and not be eligible for any promotions.

    Or fill in the form and keep your points and maybe you will get some value from them like SBR Andy keeps saying will happen.

    Choice is yours.

    Shocking this needs a thread to ask the question, or needs to be explained to people.

    The more shocking thing to most of us is that SBR is not extending the pro membership for the long time Pros since there are no ways to generate points other than the daily welfare handout and even if we have points, there is no way to spend them. It's been 18 months of promises for improvements but they have taken away everything that is good about this site and not replaced those things with anything. (Poker, Trivia, Sportsbook, Casino, Store, and Holiday bonus points are some of these items that have been taken away)

    At least that is a logical bitch. Where is there is any upside in not renewing, or questions needed, if you are going to stay on the site?!

    There isn't a downside to renewing. The fact that it is being required with everything of value taken away just doesn't sit well with many on the site. I don't spend much time on here anymore or on any other forum and I mostly gave away my points over the years so it hasn't affected me much other than the fact that it killed a forum that I used to enjoy visiting.

    I did renew with points last week and I gave Pavy 1500 points so he could renew just in case the new owners ever get around to doing something positive here but they obviously don't care and have ulterior motives for the site or they are the dumbest box of rocks on the planet and can't figure out how to do anything.

    I'm disappointed too, and not going to guess when anymore, but I do see enough action in the background to be confident upgrades are on the way for sure.
