i was able to locate the offers.. only 5 books which most of us founders or older users already had accounts at or have taken advantage of the max 5x cash bonus......

are you sure about 5x max? I think that 5x on the front page is stating the rollover requirment (5x). And the redeem cap is 1000$ per every 3 months of the year (per book).

opps ur right i think its 2x 500 freeplay. but its limited to lifetime i believe.

the point is they dont ever add new books... for those of us who were betting before sbr days.... cant get cash at those books cause accounts arent linked to sbr which is fair but they should be adding a couple books or changing it up a couple times a year.

edit looks like they changed it to quarterly. maybe they will bring thegreek back its the only book i had on list atrached to sbr

I agree also. We need more options.

The only book offered that I could use betpoints for anymore was Bodog. And I'm limited there now to $31.25 bets so that was getting tedious, and now it's a moot point since SBR recently removed Bodog from their offering in the store.

This effectively rendered my 3rd place World Poker finish valueless. My Beat the Prick freeplay winnings worthless.

Considering Bitcoin is a worse value for the betpoints than the Sportbook freeplays, It's not likely Canadians will choose Bitcoin over one of the Sportsbook freeplay options if any works for them. It'll just be an option for those of us that are stuck.

Or at least give us a pizza option.

ive mentioned this in the past also like 5 years ago. Doesn't seem to be issue with sbr at all. Probably only a small % of users are Canadian.

so i went through my emails and found out the last time i used betcris was in 2009. i could not log into the account as it said it was closed .

so i opened a new accont with sbr link after flushing cache and cookies. we will see if i can get the bonus funds on that account my only option left

Did you confirm with them 1st that it is ok to open a 2nd account because that's frowned upon by most books.

yeah my other account couldnt be located so they are the ones who told me to open new account... i think at one point u couldnt have accounts at betcris and dsi maybe thta why the old account was closed really have no clue

Dear SBR:

I have a Sportbet account which was opened in September of 2006 when they were an independent book.

I opened a 5Dimes account through an SBR link in 2009.

In 2010 Sportbet was acquired by 5dimes. My 5Dimes was closed at that time, as you are only allowed to have one book within their family.

I have asked 5dimes if I could close my Sportbet account and reopen my 5dimes account as I prefer 5dimes. They said no.

Would it be possible to order SBR sportbook freeplays for 5dimes and have them transfered to Sportbet along with the rollover?

The fine print in the store for 5dimes sportbet cash orders reads: "Players who already have Sportbet ... accounts that they created through the SBR rating guide can redeem this offer using those accounts; a 5Dimes account cannot be created."

This is similar but not my situation however, as my Sportbet account was not created though an SBR link. My 5dimes account was!

And it should be noted that I used to successfully receive 'Sportbet SBR Sportbook Cash' orders, prior to March of 2012, at Sportbet, $950 worth, even though I did not sign up for Sportbet through SBR links. That was before that requirement was added to the store orders.

So my point is, Sportbet might be ok with transferring the 5dimes store order to that account.

I guess I might just go ahead and order $100 for 5dimes and see what happens. If the order goes through, try to get it transferred after it's in 5dimes.

Worse case scenario is it goes through and I can't access it, so I waste 1500 betpoints.

i know ... usually the funds are in the account before it even says complete on sbr. ast least how it workrd for me with previous books.

it's a shame Canadians don't have the Bitcoin option, hopefully you get it soon.

I'm not sure if posters are allowed to do a bitcoin purchase if visiting the US? Might be worth the cost of the flight alone in some cases.
