    Who wants to gamble?

I’ve searched all my outs and cannot find any WSOP futures yet. I want to bet on Joe Cada to make the WSOP Main Event final table today. There are 26 total players remaining and he has a 19th place stack with about 2.5% chip equity so this is a big long shot. I was looking for odds better than +4000 but will offer a very fair +3900 to maybe get some points action at least.

Want to risk 22 points to win 858 so whoever has the points and wants to take advantage of this valuable deal can get it here.

They start soon and I’ll be away for a few hours so if anyone does want it I will ship postup as long as the offer is accepted before any major pots involving Mr Cada

I will take it assuming there hasn't been a significant change in his chip stack

As of latest wsop update he is 17th out of 24 with 10.5m so not like a major change. I spent an hour tracking down any lines so posted this way to late I guess so how about +3500 if you confirm this within 15 minutes (unless he doubles or goes out obv, I know you’re a sharp one and might hit me minute 14)

Latest update 9.9m I’m surprised you skipped this ultra value easy 22 yis. On second thought since 15 minutes is too short how about if his stack is within +/- 3m and you want the original odds just post yes whenever you see this.

To make it easy we’ll go off the official wsop reporting timestamps

I’m a degen who wants to bet poker while I degen at a poker table so hopefully this works out. Kind of surprised no books had odds for at least the big name left.

A lot of small ball so far. Up barely 1 mil with his advantageous table position so I’m sure the next table draw will screw me over somehow. Looking good for you yis

Hand #98: Frederik Brink raised to 900,000 in the cutoff and Joe Cada shoved all in for 6,875,000 in the next seat. Brink called without much thought. Cada was dominated with Ah 6h against Ac 10d
The 5h 3h 2s flop brought a world of possibilities for Cada. He'd now take a commanding lead with a four, heart or a six. The turn was a 9d, missing Cada. The river brought the 4h and Cada doubled with a flush.
    Joe Cada 14,700,000 7,500,000
    Frederik Brink 7,900,000 -7,000,000

    You got RSH’d

Still think you’ve got this one though unless he can find another double.

14 players remain and he’s near the bottom of the FT bubble. The way I run this year he goes out 10th, technically making the last table but losing the bet.

Just got down to 13 left so will offer you a buyout of 20% per spot closer to 9. Ie at 13 left you save 80%, 12 save 60% and so on.

Seriously wtf are these guys doing?

Hari Bercovici Eliminated in 13th Place ($575,000)

Wednesday, July 11, 2018 7:55 PM PDT (about 10 minutes ago)

Feature Table Hand #119: Hari Bercovici called second to act and Michael Dyer made it 1,950,000 from the big blind. Bercovici jammed for 6,250,000 and Dyer called with As Ks. Bercovici was racing with 4s 4d.
The 8c Ac 3c flop paired Dyer. The 6d was a blank on the turn, leaving Bercovici in need of one of the last two fours. The 8s hit though, sending Bercovici to the rail.
    Michael Dyer 86,200,000 6,700,000
    Hari Bercovici 0 -6,300,000

Beylin out 14th but they haven’t gotten around to fixing. PokerNews has never been good at getting this coverage correct so it makes perfect sense the wsop made them the official reporting.

    Cada final tables +3500

    22 to win 770

The 2018 World Series of Poker Main Event has been whittled down to the final nine, and there's one very familiar face among that number.
Joe Cada already has a banner hanging in the Amazon Room at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, one in which his arms comfortably rest atop brick upon brick of cash — $8,546,435 to be exact. That's how much Cada won back in 2009, when, as a green 21-year-old, he came out of nowhere to win poker's most prestigious prize.
Cada has since proven that win was no fluke with two more bracelet wins and two other six-figure prizes at the WSOP. One of those bracelets came just a month ago when he took down Event #3: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout. The other came back in 2014 in traditionally one of the toughest events of the summer, as he shipped the $10,000 Six-Max for $670,041.
Now he's got a chance to pull off one of the greatest feats in poker history. The last repeat winner was Stu Ungar in 1997 when he took down the third of his three titles. Johnny Chan, Doyle Brunson and Johnny Moss also pulled off the feat.
However, none of those legends had to go through the kind of marathon fields with which Cada has dealt as he traversed through 6,494 runners in 2009 and now 7,874 this year to reach this final table.

Idk Jaker ask yisman. I threw out a ridiculous number expecting no response or maybe some lower offer but got action instead. 40:1 would be a fair line for Cada to take it down so I’m assuming yis misread the wager. If that’s the case I will let him decide the fair odds of 19th place out of 25 with 2.5% of the chips making the final nine and accept that payout.

Quote Originally Posted by cincinnatikid513 View Post

This is easy to say when he made the FT but to be fair Cada was one of the shortest stacks when this wager went down so 15:1 is an equally ridiculous number. If any books hung a line on this I would expect that short chipstack to be at least 20:1. I appreciate what yisman does around here in the points forum and don’t want to burn him if he misread the bet so I’ll live with his decision.

I'm willing to pay it but the odds are outrageous if you run the numbers. Cada is one of the more accomplished players remaining and fair odds on him to win the tournament at the time (with a stack of 10 million) would've been 30/1 to 35/1. Making the final nine is a lot easier than that.

You must've made a mistake with the numbers. I was just giving you action.

You come up with a fair estimate for 19/25 and less than 30bb making the FT and pay that yisman. Like I said before I’m not looking to rip you off, I was honestly trying to trap someone not familiar with poker so threw out a wacky number but since it’s you who gave me the action I’ll be very fair, despite being down 15k points to you and spider over the last year lol.

These are the current dimes lines to take it down. Lynskey is at a good number, he’s as solid as it gets. A field bet against Manion is the best value I see. He plays way too tight and needed a miracle cooler to get that monster stack.
