SBR has sold out on their trivia aspect of the Pro membership
Which has led to the prospects of being a SBR Pro not as glamorous
Sure the donating to charity thing is a brilliant idea and you can win points
by risking them in the SBR Sportsbook(which im up on, so once again not complaining there)
Life Time Figure
15,835.81 SBR
BUT
its still risking points to win points , the free play option is simply not there anymore outside of a
few months where a water logged by non pro's beat the prick contest gives that opportunity
So its still a great forum , and im sticking around regardless
but if you do not play poker here then your chances at achieving betpoints
are slim to none outside of RISKING them in the sportsbook
SBR trivia was always the silver lining in the Pro membership in my eyes .
But now its steadily impossible questions on the 3rd question(which is the only point value worth risking)
since its only 8 times a month you have the option of attaining risk free betpoints
Might seem like one is micro analyzing all this , but the fact remains outside of poker the
propulsion is just not there anymore .
This annoyance or not , Ive still convinced my buddy here in town to sign up as a pro on here,
which he is doing soon (or so he says)
One can only handle so many
In 1964 , what backup QB for the blah blah blah threw 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter
Yao ming entered the NBA @ what exact weight
What (unheard of boxer) in 1972 went on to win 5 straight fights
Which of these NBA players in 1975 averaged a double double for the season
What assistant for the Temple Owls in 1965 took over head coaching position halfway through the season
One of my personal favorites
So yeah we might as well do virtual scratch off cards or some kind of lightning round bingo
instead of trivia . They now all share the same trait/aspect .....
which is the user having zero edge and 1 out of 4 chance of becoming a Butthole Billionaire twice a week
