SBR Sportsbook voided a wager incorrectly, and refuses to correct it.

So I made a horse wager Aug 15 at 5:28pm, the race ran at 5:40pm, all easily verifiable. The next day, when I noticed the wager was pending, I asked for help. Instead of grading it, they voided it, claiming (repeatedly) "the system flagged it as past post". I provided proof of a full 10 minute gap, yet they refuse to fix the problem, despite my going thru the suggested methods.

    Ticket #: 3250895

    RAC Racing ticket #233864
    Aug-15 SAR R9 104.99 SBR SHW 10 104.99 / 0.00 0.00 N/A VOID 08/15/2016 05:28:48 PM

The race, according to the NYRA website:

    Race 9
    $50,000.00, Maiden Claiming
    Off At: 5:40PM
Distance: 1 1/8 Miles on Turf
    Turf Course: Mellon
    Track Condition: Good
    Winning Time: 1:52.65
    Chart: PDF
    HD Replay: Pan Head-On
    Results Win Place Show
    2 Time Squared Jose L. Ortiz $6.00 $3.40 $2.80
    7 Jennifer's Legacy Junior Alvarado $4.40 $3.50
10 Little Mary Ellen Jose Lezcano $5.60

Not a big point amount, but the idea anyone could arbitrarily claim "past posting" when it is easily, provably false is disappointing.

The race book might've had the race going off earlier because at times the race track post times change but SBR Racebook post times do not change

Easily verifiable boys. Send jjgold to the racetrack to investigate. He needs to review security footage to confirm exact race start time. This could be epic!

It isn't tough to verify the times involved. Despite asking many times, no one at SBR would say what time the race closed, something that would seem to be important if a wager was voided.

If that's true, they should have no problem saying what time they show the race ran, but they don't. This is similar to having a rain delayed baseball game where the wager was made past the SCHEDULED time of say 7:00, but well before the game actually started, say at 8:00 and having them void it because the game factually started at 8:15 saying it was past post.

We have no control over the bets being flagged as past post. We do display a notice as we mentioned via live help not to wait until the last second to enter wagers. We'll go ahead and disable your racebook access if you like so this can't happen again.
