Per the first post of this thread, you agreed to work on the principle and then some amount of interest at my discretion. It looks like you're a little short of the 3k principle, but it's close enough, we'll call that complete. I'm curious, given the circumstances what do you consider fair interest?
Totally agree Trip. You gotta commend the guy for getting it together and do'in the right thing here. Most guys who stiff would just leave and never come back.

You know Triple, I want to say Thank you for the principal and you being the bigger man on that end. For interest it's really impossible because How can you figure out 3 years of interest that wasn't set in terms before hand? I mean no way I can be fair to you or realistically setup repayment that would be fair to me and not send me scared packing to the hills.
I'm still working on repaying Yisman atm.

How about this. Once I'm done with yisman we can have a real discussion about this?

Well, repayment to yisman seemed to stop several days after this post, and you seem to be back on the 'no repayment cause nobody's talking about it' plan. Please consider this a polite request to resume repaying yisman...or if for some reason that's taken care of in a way I'm not aware of, to let me know what interest you consider fair for taking over 5 years to repay me.

Let's just be honest here, You know there is no way to be be "fair" as to a figure of interest, and so really you just want further "punish" me like Im some kind of child. With all the big contests gone, poker dried up, and me sucking at trivia I won't be able to generate hundreds of points much less thousands before my pro expires.

So here's my offer. I won't ask to ever borrow again not even a tourney entry. I'll offer you a 1.5k repay if I renew pro next nfl season. I don't plan on being on sbr till nfl, if i come back at all. IfI show up and dont start repay in 4 days of being back you can double my repay once to 3k total. Same if i borrow a single pt.

I have no desire to punish you. There is certainly a fair amount of interest for you taking so long to repay, and while that amount isn't practical, that's nobody's fault but your own. 1500 points is nowhere near that fair amount, but I suppose it's better than nothing.

In the 6 weeks or so since you proposed this, you've been on every day and received 500 points, not a single one of which went to repayment as you proposed. Or did you mean that you'd be around doing whatever you feel like until you (maybe) decide to renew for NFL, at which point you'll (maybe) start payment? Either way, it's not encouraging.

Offering to double payment isn't much when 1) it's still considerably less than what you originally agreed to and 2) you've shown no interest in repaying anyways. Historically (and as proven by this very episode), you show no desire to repay until 'reminded', so please consider this yet another reminder and a more-diplomatic-than-it-should-be request to begin repaying a fraction of what you owe

Bump to remind you of this chip; looks like you didn't start repaying within 4 days and borrowed points. Interested to see if you follow through on your proposal, but I think I know the answer...

Bump for chip's stated intention (in poker chat) to pay back the 3k he proposed above.

Pretty funny for sure; not to be outdone though...

Chip had 5k points from being on the wining world cup team, plenty to pay what he said he would and still have thousands to gamble with. Instead of living up to his word yet again, he took them to the sportsbook, then cashed out an order for $300 in bitcoin instead of paying even a single point towards what he owes. Guy has been a thief for years, and usually uses excuses like "I can't afford to pay off even part of the debt I've run up over 7 years". This time he could have repaid, but made the conscious decision to be a stiff and grab some bitcoin instead. With bobbo gone and CS4 quietly sucking at Gaze's teet for the moment, chip definitely doing his part to be the biggest piece of trash on the forum

It's weird to see Bob with 0 points. Nice that he refunded his points back to SBR.

I see chip/borednaz registered for all the tournaments today. How sad that someone can spend points on numerous things and not honor their commitments. You are right, he comes up with every excuse in the book and tries to garner sympathy. The jig is up.

Stiffing on points is the lowest of low. At least you got your investment back Trips.
