    Issue with 400 point wager last night....MODS?

    Yesterday I went to make a wager in the Sportsbook.

    I went through the process to bet 400 points on the Capitals at +120. After I did that I got an error message (which has happened a lot lately). I went through the process again and got the error message again.....I circled back and went through everything again and it came back as 'this event has already started'.

    Of course, with nothing else to bet that night I didn't bother placing any more wagers.

    This morning I got up and noticed that my points account was lower than expected....by 400 points. I went into my history and there was my wager, processed at the exact time that the game should have been closed (6:30 pm Pacific). I have no idea how this wager was placed, I certainly did not get a confirmation, and in fact tried to place the wager three times unsuccessfully. I also never noticed, during the rest of the night, that I had points 'in play'. That is something that I pay attention to, so I am surprised by this.

    As you can see, I have been a pro here for almost two years and have never had an issue with anything, as well, I have NEVER used a point to purchase anything....and until lately hadn't even really tried to accrue points. I do hope that you can make this right.

    I understand that these error messages are being fixed....that will be great....they seem to be happening more and more. I look forward to your thoughts on the above issue.

    Hi Dollars2Donuts,

    Your wager of 400 points on Washington +120 was recorded at Oct-26, 9:29:59pm ET.

    Only bets which are confirmed are listed in your account history, in other words, a wager is not written to the database unless it is confirmed. The SBR Sportsbook uses Digital Gaming Solutions (DGS) software, the same software used by many industry operators.

    In the future, if you ever see an error displayed while using the SBR Sportsbook, we would be happy to have our technicians to take a look, and even escalate the issue to the software maker if necessary. But from what we see, this wager was placed, confirmed, and graded correctly.

    I am not sure you even listened to what I said.....

    Why did did I even bother? And this is not a rhetorical question...I am asking you why I bothered if you don't even read what I post.

    I got two error messages and then a 'it's too late message'. I never saw a confirmed message....do you think I would bother bringing this up if I weren't being honest?

    Yeah....not going to happen. I sent them a PM saying that I didn't think their ruling was 'cool'.

    I got got back a message that was....to say the least, shocking. I don't think I can even post it here.....seriously. I am still shocked.

    Haha, nice. Don't need it, but I appreciate the sentiment. I will do as you say and forget about it....it wasn't the wager in the first place, it was that something is obviously wrong with their software.

    And if you are looking for a good wager I have two of them for you tonight in the NHL. Colorado and Columbus, both at home and both at even money.....if I had to rate one higher I would say Columbus, but only slightly. I may post one 'over' in the NHL later as well.

    Sent you 400. Haven't been able to follow any of your big hockey winners but stay hot - I am sure SBR is giving up a lot of points on your plays already!!
