I've been stiffed of course, but my judgement isn't so prodigiously bad that almost everyone I've lent to has stiffed me...such as yourself

Stiffing is not the lenders fault, and there's nothing in my words to insinuate it. The ridicule you get is for trying to give advice on lending when your own ability with it is obviously terrible...it's the same reason you're ridiculed for being bad at poker

There's no "ability" in lending, you make a loan to credit worthy people & expect the payback terms to be followed. If you knew a stiff was coming, you obviously wouldn't have made the loan. So the fact that you loaned to stiffs, means you have absolutely no "ability" to prevent it.
