5 way tie for 8th which means complicated grading for Senden/Bjorn. Will do it now.
5 Dimes rules used exactly this example, which is interesting (5 way for 8th).
Scenario #3: Five golfers – including Ogivly – tie for 8th place.
The risk amount ($100) is divided by the number of competitors involved in the "dead heat" (5 golfers) = $20 (divided stake) and multiplied by the number of paying positions (3: 8th, 9th & 10th) = $60. The wager amount to be paid at full odds is $60. The remainder $40 of the risk amount are lost.
$60 on Ogivly + 350 pays $210 to win, for a total credit of $270.
Not sure how that would work, I know the golfers take all 5 prize pools together than spit it 5 ways evenly. Not sure how it works with gambling.
I win 98 pts. for two 200 pt plays? IDK I had 2 of the 5, seems I would win more than that?
As there were 6 spots tied for 8th 9th and 10th you have to divide your stake by 6 then times it by how spots were left to be paid for 8th 9th and 10th
So I put up 430 and get 498 back that's only a $68 winner

because it's 3 out of 6
So on Senden it was 110 to win 100=210
Bjorn 105 to win 100=205
so I was supposed to send 415. I sent 498
So 200 bet divided by 6 =33.33 x3 =100 on whatever price it was
basically it's grading half a win half a loss
you put up 430 on the guys and they basically got a push. You get 415 rather than 430 because it was -odds
So now our saying I win 15 total pts?

jut seesm something isn't right. sending them back anyway. I know I have 2 of 6 golfers and risk 220 and 210 to get back a 15 pt. profit. for finishing in the top 10
that's their rules. I can't tell you whether they're right or wrong, just the rules they have
they say if there's a 6 way tie and 3 spots pay then it's like half your bet wins and half your bet loses
