I Just Got Eff'ed Over in the SBR SportsBook

Seriously nothing ever goes right or easy like it should on this website. I bet Cincinatti Reds RL for 524 betpoints (+120) and won easily. They went 6 innings before game got called off and went official after 6 innings and the Reds whooped them like 8-1.

Game is over.....one team got credited with a win. The other a loss. Therefore it COUNTS.

Yet SBR cancels the bet. GTFO.

Yea I agree. The game is official. I talked to the SBR live help chat guy (Commisioner of Live Gaming or something like that) just now. He seemed cordial but said that if the game doesn't go nine innings it doesn't count.

By that logic any game that goes into extra innings tied should be nullified too. This isn't cool.

Other sports books pay out. Only if the game isn't official and doesn't go to the bottom of the 5th. If a team gets credited with a loss or a win in the standings then the game counts.

At our sportsbook games that do not go a full 9 innings are refunded. In your case your RL would usually be voided even at a sportsbook because totals and runlines must go a full 9 innings.

How does that rule make any sense? Everyone knows baseball games are played outdoors for the most part and weather plays a factor. It's nothing new. If a game is official....it's official.

From a logical stand point how does seem fair?

I know right.....imagine if it was real money. Like I said....no one has had a problem with this rule before? If you say had thousands of dollars at stake how can you not have a problem with this rule?

Nationals RL tomorrow as Strausburg takes the hill and the Nats need to get rolling now that they are healthy. Hmmm....not sure but sounds logical.

Also liking Oakland A's at home and Cleveland with plus EV at Kansas City. Gotta choose one of these.

And you wonder how sports books stay in business when they have sharps like this guy laying down money or in this case the equivalent of $2.51.

Fine thread closed. The rule is still BS if you think about it. I can understand refunds for OVER-UNDER bettors a little but still not if you are choosing a side. Everyone knows in baseball there is a winner and a loser if it's after 4.5 innings played and not a tie.
