In a blistering cold and snowy February of 2004, i bet a Korean man at the bus stop when the next bus was coming. He said 20 minutes and i said 25 minutes. The bus came around the 22 and a half minute mark. We argued who was closer and we ended up both missing our bus. We sat for about another 40 minutes and there was no bus in sight. I said screw this and started walking home. I got about 50 metres and i could here the doors of the bus open, i tried to sprint back in the sleet but it was too late. All i saw was this korean man drop his ticket in and look back with a smirk carrying his grocery bags. I swear, if i ever see him again....

I put a grand on the Jets ML at a local Nevada casino back in a Monday night in 2000. To me it was a large bet. Down 23-7 at half I still had some hope like a dumbazz. When dolphins scored again and I was down 30-7 I did what any degenerate would do and crumbled up my ticket and tossed it in the bin. Left the house pissy and went to intoxicate myself into feeling better. The next day I'm listening to the radio and found out the Miracle comeback by the Jets. I practically shat a brick. Went home and sure enough found my crumpled ticket and felt like a real champ. Realizing how terrible my ticket looked and not wanting to look like I had any doubt about my bet I realized I needed to do something to make my ticket run through the machine.
My stupid ignorant self grabbed the clothes Iron and proceeded to iron my ticket. One swipe and I blackened out nearly the whole ticket. That paper is the heat sensitive crap. I was dumbfounded. Took it to the casino and the guy tried to run it. It wouldn't scan. I got worked up and the manager came over and luckily he could make out the numbers in the bottom and he cashed it for me. The whole time murmuring about how moronic I was for ironing it. Long story short I felt like a fuktard and to this day I make sure my tickets are hidden from sunlight and any heat source.Points Awarded:

blazer here is a good one.
i had 203 bucks on me on a blistering cold day when i had a gambling problem years ago (bout 8 years ago i'd say). i went to a W U to make a 5 dimes deposit and it came out to 202.57 to send to the philippines KNOWING I HAD NO GAS IN MY CAR and was about 15 miles away from home. start going home car stops. i look for change in teh car for about a half hour and manage to get a $1.75. i have a gas container that i keep in the trunk because this has happened before (because of gambling). i walk to the nearest gas station , fortuntely just around the corner and fill it up with gas. i walk back to my car and fill the tank with whatever gas i got. i go another 12 miles and the car stops again. but this time im in a neighborhood i know so i park it on a nicely lit block and walk home (3 miles). when i get home mom asks me where is the car and i say it was making funny noises so i left it with our mechanic and took the bus home. she buys the story. the next day i take (steal) a few copies of DVDs ( mr and mrs smith , green mile, cassablanca) from our family collection and once again walk to a dvd buyer which was bout a couple miles away. he gives me 7 bucks for the DVDs. i go home rest up . lose the 175 i deposited at 5 dimes. with tears of frustration i walk to the gas station near my house just around the corner, fill it up to the brink using the 7 dollars take it to my car and bring it home.
all done in mid january when it was around 28 degrees outside. even wit hgloves on i almost got frost bite. 4 months later the car stopped on the expressway again (due to sending money to offshore 5 dimes) and again i took my gas container with like $4.00 in change and walked through a private golf course, security on my ass, i explained i am in need of gas and i am stuck on the expressway. thankfully they let me go and even pointed out the nearest gas station. made it home with the gas pointer below the E. dont know how since it was at least 10 miles. unreal. just to fukkin gamble.Last edited by Wulfman14; 02-26-13 at 11:55 PM.
