    UK resident betpoints question

Hi, so I have about 400 betpoints and looking through the store all items claim to only be for US residents so what could I purchase or how does it work for non-us residents?

    Thanks
    Tom.

You can buy the best thing in the store, which Americans can't.

Yeah did see these but when I try to sign up to the actual site, all the withdrawal methods do not suit me, there is no method I could use to withdraw funds, and the closest ones have very large fees too.

If I knew someone in Canada or USA would I be able to get stuff sent to them and then they send it across?

    Thanks
    Tom.

I don't know about having them ship to US for you.

5Dimes might have methods to suit you. They do for me. The rest of the books available are a pain by my normal standards too. But you can access them, the same way Americans have to do it.

1.Find someone who is in the US willing to help you
2.Transfer your points to them (2 per day, ouch, will take a while )
3.Let them order the product for you
4.After they receive it, they can physically send it to you
5.Reimburse them for their time, shipping and any other expenses

I wanna do the same, actually, when I collect enough points... so if there are any interested parties, feel free to PM me. Will be a lot more than a few hundred points, though. Will reimburse well too.

I am pretty sure SBR will not like this.

Why? That would trully be idiotic. So, 99% of the items in the store cannot be ordered by anyone outside the US and SBR wants it this way and would even sanction anyone that merely tried to do something useful with them?

Correct on your original point, 99% of the store is now only available to the US posters. Second, besides the OP is not a PRO, the point is that I sincerely doubt SBR will allow a non-US PRO to ship a US-PRO the points to purchase an item for them and then ship it to them. Given that, it clearly shows that the shipping costs being high as a reason for this change as bogus.

It is all about that SBR needs to try and make money off non-US posters to support the US SBR store because they cannot afford to cutoff US posters from the store and not give US posters the Sportsbook cash (due to arcane US laws).

If you're not a pro I agree that it can be seen as non-pro receiving pro only benefits. If that is against some unwritten rule, I'm not complaining. But in my case, I'm a pro and I'm in Canada and I would be able to use gift cards that work exclusively in the US, so why can't I order them? And why would I not be able to ask someone in the US to order them for me if it so happens that SBR thinks the cost of shipping a bunch of plastic cards to Canada would be excessive?
    Where is the problem, exactly?

Good questions, never heard an answer to them. I am Canadian also. SBR_John made some reference to high shipping costs to overseas destinations and Bill Dozer essentially said (I am paraphrasing) that Sportsbook cash was the best option anyway and instead of people freeloading and buying stuff but not participating in the forums, they should give back to the site by gambling at the sponsor sites.
