    How many PM's can we have stored?

    Got an email from sbrforum today:

    "Dear Scooter,

    [Name deleted by me] has just tried to send you a private message. However, your private messages box on Sports Betting Forum & Handicapping has reached the specified quota. In order to receive further private messages, you must delete some messages. Please visit this page to do so:

    What is the quota?

    Why isn't it specified anywhere?

    Why didn't the software alert me that my PM quota has been reached?

    The page tells me between my Received and Sent pm's I have 189 stored.
    189 is a surprising and odd number to make as the total number of pm's allowed?
    Is this correct?

    If I can get the answer to the simple question I pose, I can keep the box below the max level.

    2) The title of the post poses a question.
    I would think this would be a simple thing for a mod to answer, and if not, a simple procedure for the mod to get the answer.

    Instead, you ignore the question rather than answering it.
    And ignore my OP, instead of reading it.

    So once again - "How many PM's can we have stored?".



    3) "SBR Forum" - is this a specific mod's handle? Or generic, and any mod can post under this handle?

    Because this is the 2nd time recently where a mod using the handle "SBR Forum" posted a useless non-answer to a question.

    but simply put if vbulletin says u are full then delete 50 and u will be good.

    I have to delete 1-200 every day because im a power user

    As stash said, it's 250...but important to note that if you keep copies of your sent PMs, those count against your limit too. Why there's such a tiny limit in the first place in this day and age I'm not sure...
