**thanks SBR - pro is a huge benefit

yes the "pro" program for u.s. residents used to be better, when you could make sportsbook deposits and use points for sportsbook cash.

but still, even with blasting through thousands and thousands of points in the casino (including another 2000 today on paigow ugh) the benefits are awesome.

didn't win a major contest or poker prize all year, and i still have been able to cash out in 2012:
    2 ipads ($1000)
    gift cards totaling $1110

so $2110 worth of free stuff - not bad for having fun, playing poker, and shooting the shit with fellow degenerates!

    thanks nocoin

my words of advice for betpoints are the same as real cash - my problem (and i'm sure a lot of you share this problem) is that i take sportsbook winnings and piss them away at the poker/blackjack/paigowpoker tables.

it's tough to stay disciplined because at our core we are gamblers.

Milwaukee, how to achieve so many points? You get those 12 a day, but how do you do it?

daily poker tourney winnings should average 50 pts (250/week)+ a 60 pt win in trivia/week + the other 29 pts that you don't use on poker

    so that's 340 x 52 or 17,680 points/year

without counting casino specials, special poker tournaments, or winning anything in the sportsbook, everyone should be able to get $900/year.

Mike is right, it's a good deal. I just cashed out $250 worth of crap last week. And got an ipad a couple of months ago. You easily cover your $200 investment in no time.

Mike, tell me about the olden days where you could get sportsbook cash. How much money could you get, for say, 10,000 points?

You can't even get $100 worth of gift cards for that amount of points now, less than 2 years later (sigh)

Damn! I wouldn't have thought it would be that much. I've got 4000 points on tonight's game, that could've been the equivalent to almost $500.

I definitely missed out on the good times.

True but points were harder to get then too, without poker and trivia. For example i cashed out more in 2012 than every other year combined.

I guess it kind of balances itself, if that's the case. Giving away more points, getting less for your buck per point, etc.

I'm not complaining either way. Free is free. SBR is a pretty sweet deal.

Yeah winning points is fun and losing a few thousand isn't that painful, i look at it like "at least it wasn't real money"

The best steak dinner in milwaukee wouldn't even be top 20 in chicago

I'm on a short leash and bank account lately after getting smacked for 7k for furnace and a/c, and having to help my brother out financially. Trying to steer clear of casino which won't last long

Casino doom switch was on too, got whipped for 2k in half hour on paigow poker. Called it quits and cashed in all points.

Was a weird couple weeks, i kept bouncing around from 3000 points to 12000 back and forth.

i lost 10 straight side bets to trytrytry and tevari so they got big chunks
