So there were 2 SEPARATE PRIZES that could both be won on the same promo, the problem is Lou NEVER said that once a Pro wins a promo, a NON-PRO cannot then win.
Actually the 2nd rule in Lou's original post stated: 2. For grading purposes, the winner of each promo will be the first user that posts their game history/that they've won in this thread.

You weren't first. If you had been you would've won 10k pts. However you simply weren't.

I'm not sure why there's a debate here?

Dude, you cant use the points anyway!!

Here is an idea!! Why dont you become a pro in the next 2 days and in turn Lou will give you the 10,000 rollover points that you think that you deserve! That is actually a great deal for you and sort of helps the forum as well I guess

So according to that rule I he had been first then no iPad would have been given, only points. Then Lou came in and said he would have also given an iPad even after a winner had already posted. The sole point here is that the rules were ****** up.

Lou has already said there were 2 prizes for each promo that could both be won. So really it should say,

"For grading purposes, the WINNERS of each promo will be the first user that posts their game history/that they've won in this thread."

Also, "1st Non-Pro to win each promo will receive 10K casino points w/ 10x rollover."

After reading the rules, any logically minded person would then infer the 1st Pro to post a win would get the I-Pad, the 1st Non-Pro to post a win for each promo would win 10K casino points. 2 separate categories, Pros that post first win I-Pads, Non-Pros that post first win casino points.

WINNERS because there were 4 separate promos going on! Seriously pal.

And no he didn't say the quote above in the context you're stating. Please don't state things that aren't true. In that same sentence it says "the first non Pro to WIN the promo"... the 2nd rule tells you who is graded the winner: The FIRST PERSON TO UPLOAD THE WINNING HAND. That wasn't you.

I'm not sure if you're being deliberately obtuse or what the deal is here but you're not getting the points. If you had won first, yes. You didn't = no.

"The sole point here is that the rules were ****** up."

that pretty much sums it up.

it's not that hard to write the rules correctly and i don't see why SBR can't just admit they were not clear

    nobody is perfect.

    mistakes happen.

it was a dumb promo for non pros anyways

they can only keep 5k in points right?

    so why give em 10k?

they can win in the casino its not 100% for them to lose.

Sigh , please read Cheme82's posts above. Going by what you are saying, if a non-pro would have won a promo first, then they would have been graded the winner and it would then be over for that promo. But as Lou stated in this thread, there were a potential two winners for each promo. He never stated in the rules that a non pro cannot win after a pro wins. Anyways, I'm not going to argue with you, you're SBR Forum's lackey girl anyways so it's your job to take SBRs side no matter what. Can we at least agree the rules were poorly written and SBR needs to do a better job in the future?

Anyways I'm out, be back on later.

Yes. Hopefully in the future, all non-pros are excluded from these awesome promos.

Again: The rule stated "For grading purposes, the winner of each promo will be the first user that posts their game history/that they've won in this thread."

    The first user.

    The. First. User.

I'm truly not sure what you're not understanding.

And for a guy with 108 posts who said he's never participated in a promo before, it seems you don't know too much about me. I've spoken out against SBR's policies, stuff ups, etc many times and I'll do so in the future I'm sure. However I can't back you in this one.

As others have said even if you were given the 10k in points, you couldn't do much with them. If you turned Pro tomorrow only 5k would carry over. So it's not about the points. The first person to post was the winner. You were not it. I don't see how that part is confusing.

Regardless, that's the beauty of discussion. Everyone's free to agree or disagree. But seriously you're not going to get these points. If I thought you were in the right I'd be advocating for you behind the scenes. I've done it many times before in cases ranging from getting guys unbanned to strangely worded trivia questions, etc and many posters will vouch for that. I simply can't do it here for you as I don't agree at all. Either way, good luck with your bets.

I have no skin in this game but side with SBR on this one. Like someone said earlier, it's impossible to write a rule book for every possible interpretation. That's why most contests say "the winner is determined by the contest maker and his rule is final".

You lost on this one, sucks but it is what it is. Rule can be read a few different ways, I read it consistent with the way it was applied for what its worth and see no need for pts to be awarded or even an apology.

Of course you are arguing for your side because you think you won, but I think lou is right on this one.

Not going to argue anymore, everyone has mostly agreed the rules were poorly written. Shari you should handle the rules clarification when it comes to promos then, if you go back to the casino ipad promo thread the first 2 pages are people asking questions. The rules should be defined enough so people don't have to ask so many, everything should be stated clearly.

Lou mentioned things in this thread that he should have put in the rules section of his OP, would have cleared everything up.

Why dont you just agree to become a pro, do it in the next 2 days and see what happens then? I would think that they would give you at least 5000 in casino rollover points if you are willing to do that. And it is something that you should have done long ago anyway.

Very few people saw the situation as you saw it, and that is proven by the fact that no nonpros even bothered to win the other props. Why did no nonpros bother to win the craps prop then?

One last thing, you are really the only one arguing. Everyone else is satisfied with the ruling
