Yes, read the OP again. "Former and existing SBR Pros may renew their membership with 2,750 betpoints. Not valid for first-time applicants."

You are a former SBR Pro and not a first time applicant so yes.

Is there a big problem with fake accounts reaching 5000 points in the US? Does the charity really check your ID that well? Usually when I donate like any other online transaction I use a store bough DC so I don't have to worry about my bank card number getting stolen.

US customers can't get moneybooker money ect is there a ring of guys that are making fake accounts winning up to 5K worth of points and then buying Amazon gift cards?

There are more non US users on SBR than US posters now. They have access to cashing out their points via Moneybookers, buying sportsbook cash, etc. As far as donating to charity via SBR, it's on our platform so certain measures are in place. But yes... one of the US guys who I've mentioned before that I've been dealing with for maybe a year and a half now? creates accounts every day without fail. Keeps trying to make Pro accounts, keeps trying to shift points, etc. And then you get the smaller time US guys who just try to operate with a couple of accounts and scam that way for gift cards, whatever. Like I said - ideally everyone would just be honest but obviously on an anonymous Internet forum people get a bit more keyboard courage to try to scam. So in that respect we're going to make you verify yourself as much as possible. For those who already have done so by depositing with an SBR book, the option is there to renew via points as their info has been checked as much as possible although it's still constantly reviewed. But for someone new, they're not going to get the option of buying a membership solely with points. If we did that we would kiss the points program away in 6mths or less thanks to fraud which obviously wouldn't benefit anyone.

    Hi Lou,
    So according to the statement
Former and existing SBR Pros may renew their membership with 2,750 betpoints.
that means I can use points to renew my PRO application?

Check out the SBR Pro application, and if you have any questions, shoot it in this thread or via PM.

If I understood you correctly, the answer is YES! If this is NOT your FIRST time becoming a pro, you can use the points to become a PRO once again. Just not for rooks.

You'll need to check on a computer. And make sure any ad blocking software is turned off.

Wait you only have 60 pts, 11 at risk. What are you worried about right now??

Jersey and GamblerSpirit - This is John's response... in this thread mind you... about people who let their membership expire:

Assuming that everyone here is actually a gambler....why would you not go the deposit route or existing money in your account? Most will be putting money in their accts anyways, and then you have 2750 more points to gamble/spend.

Thanks for the clarification Shari. It seems odd to me that someone would go that much trouble to try and game this system but you would know better then I.

Anyone that can run their 6 a day up to 5K in a short amount of time could be better off using their talents elsewhere.

haha I agree totally! Blows my mind constantly. So I can only assume this is one tiny speck in their overall scam pool.

As one guy told me when I caught him and his 30 or so accounts "I can make more here in a week than the average wage in my country for a month and it's no hard labour". At least he was honest

Go to the link in my signature and try to choose a renewal option. If you're 30+ days away from expiring a pop up will appear telling you that you can't renew until xxx date.
