What happened is that your last leg of that parlay got cancelled, hence the parlay payout was recalculated to a 6 team parlay instead of the original 7 team parlay you had.

The reason for the voiding of the leg is that the LA Angels game was posted on the board without both listed pitchers, games are some times offered without one listed pitcher in order for players to take advantage of early lines but as the industry standard dictates, all total bets and runline bets are always listed pitchers, so what you can actually bet when the game is opened like that is pretty much only an action straight bet, all total and runline bets will be canceled later on when the missing pitcher is added.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

i dont recall ever seeing a book put up a line without both pitchers being listed

enter the odds of that parley into any calcultor you jackoff and see if it adds up to 23k.

Yes it has, as well as any other total or runline bet made with only one listed pitcher.

This has happened to a ton of people. Just because their system is slow to list some pitchers, they are cancelling bets. If the line is a good line, and it is clear who the pitchers are, it shouldn't matter if they are in the system. When you make the run line bet you know it is listed pitchers, and you don't need the SBR sportsbook to tell you who the listed pitchers are. They need to grade all past bets correctly, ie win or loss not cancel, and then get their system up to speed.

Our little fun book runs with limited manpower, so the most probable scenario is that at the time the last of us was out yesterday, we didn't have lines nor listed pitchers for that game and in an attempt to offer the early line at least on a partial manner, the game was opened as it was, knowing that it would only be good for action straight bets.

If we were actually getting any profit back from the sportsbook, then maybe it could be sustainable to have 24/7 linesmen working on the book, but it doesn't and so you get the best we can offer.

If you go to espn, yahoo sports, cbssports, etc, days before a game it lists the pitchers. So far in all examples, there was never a question of who was starting, for either team.
