Creating Sportsbook Accounts Thru SBR Links

Seems this is not as easy as it would appear. Recently SBR changed its policy and does not allow sportsbook cash to be purchased in the store UNLESS you signed up for that particular book thru SBR. Of course this is problematic for old school guys because the books offering cash are few AND probably already in the portfolio well before joining SBR.

So, since i could not longer get Bodog cash and DSI was sponsoring the new poker series--I specifically clinked on a DSI link with SBR and set up an acct. I didn't deposit, because I know Cris does not want my action. BUT, the acct was set up thru SBR link.

Now, when I tried to order the $140 last week thru DSI, SBR sends me the new policy statement "blah blah blah u have to have signed up thru SBR link blah blah blah" and refunds my points. So now I have to resubmit.

Ok, so my point is this. IF YOU HAVE SIGNED UP THRU AN SBR LINK--ITS A GOOD IDEA TO VERIFY THIS FACT WITH SBR BEFORE YOU PLACE A CASH ORDER IN THE STORE.

Save yourself lots of time and trouble and emails and PM's back and forth. Maybe!

You may be still able to get the cash from the store but the new "requirement" is that you have to have deposited $50 dollars first to receive cash. So you may be tagged through SBR but haven't deposited yet so get nothing.

I am in same boat as Kat here. I can't go thru my normal cash route any longer. MrM may have a point here. Can SBR Lou elaborate and verify that a deposit must have been made to establish that book as a cash option? I have also signed up for DSI via SBR link but have not deposited there.

Well here is SBR's new rule:

    • For all sportsbook cash orders, user must have deposited at least $50 to the sponsor.

Please allow up to 2-4 business days for the prize to be credited by the sportsbook.

Of course the affiliate ID can be identified on the account independent of any deposit but it's just that SBR wants you to deposit now so they get more dinero off you.

Would have been nice if Lou would have sent this to me FIRST as an explanation. Saved alot of time and trouble. Lou? Are you sure you are not part Panamanian? of course they can identify the linkage with the book, but if they needed a deposit just say so. Thanks market.
