    Rays will win AL EAST

Rays to win AL East +625 odds $500 to win $3,125

Don't sleep on the Rays. Now that Manny can just concentrate on hitting I think he will go back to his monster numbers.

Look out Boston we coming for you.

I hope they win it. Anybody except Yankees and Red Sox, and I'm happy.

Rays wont hit any better than Baltimore.

Dan Johnson starting at 1B? Bullpen consisting of Joel Peralta, Kyle Farnsworth and Adam Russell? No thanks.

Unless Boston is decimated by injuries again, there is no way the Rays win the East.

Delusional Rays fans. They think Longoria is God and Manny is still elite.

I hope you didn't bet it yet. $500 is a lot of money to tie up so soon.
Take that $500 and labby the Rays to riches, you'll make more than $3000.

Horrible future bet. Might be worse then taking the Pirates to win the WS.

Yeah right man ... the Rays starting rotation is solid. The bullpen is decent and they can add an arm if needed before the trade deadline.

These guys will compete. Ofcourse the Redsox look good on paper but they are bunch of fragile ball players that can't stay on the field.

Watch out for the Blue Jays as well. The bet on the greek is any other team besides Yankees and Redsox and you get +625 odds.

    Drabek
    Romero
    Morrow

are 3 great pitchers and you know the Jays can swing the bats as well as any team in the Majors.

Are you fukking handicapped? Judging by your triple post in a row, you obviously have slight disability at minimum.

Obviously I am fukking kidding when I say this is almost as bad as taking the pirates to win the WS. In the end though, this is a horrible bet at +625. ESPECIALLY when other books have it at around +1000.

Good luck. Not sure I would've placed that bet. I can see them finishing 4th, slightly ahead of Toronto. AL East is going to be good this season.

Quite frankly, the Rays could very well come in last this year. The AL East is just that good.

Yanks and Sox will of course battle for 1st.

Jays and Os will battle for 3rd. The Jays are already talking about 90 wins this season, and they have a very good shot at it. The Os have Showalter. What he did with that team last season when they were DOA was a perfect example of just how good of a manager he truly is.

And then there is the Rays. They poorly spend money this offseason getting Damon, who wasn't good enough for the Yanks 3 years ago, and Manny, who hasn't been good since 2004. Add to that losing your star closer to division rival NY, who uses him as a set up man!

There are teams leaps and bounds better than the Rays this year. Their World Series run was a fluke. Just like Colorado's was, just like Detriot's was, just like Texas was last year. It happens. But you can't expect that since it happened once, it'll happen again.

The only smart thing you did was take the field on the bet instead of finding a Rays only bet. Time to hop off the crazy train and buy yourself a Jays hat, you'll be a lot closer that way.

I just think the Rays and Jays will compete. If you know anything about baseball its not always the most talented team that wins the division. It's the team that stays healthy and plays the best together.

Saying the Redsox will stay healthy is a huge "if" and the Yankees are good but their starting pitching is shaky. The Jays and Rays both have teams that may be able to win the division if the young guys can have breakout seasons like they are a capable of.

The Orioles are by far the worst team in the division

You have a lot of "ifs" and "cans" in your statements there. Way too much for it to really mean anything.

If my aunt had two balls, she'd be my uncle.

While that statement may technically be true, I wouldn't be $500 on it to happen, especially not at +625.

Further, all the information you are using to back up your opinion is just that, your opinion. You have not given any factual information that supports your claim. Its just your hunch, which going off of your bet, its not good at all.

    Factual information:
Bautista lead the MLB in HR last season.
Baltimore had one of the best records in the league once Buck Showalter became manager.

    Hunches:
    Bautista will do it again.
Showalter will come out of retirement and win 12 games.
Drabek will pitch back to back perfect games.

Stick to facts and not "ifs" "cans" and "hunches". When you do, you won't tie up $500 in a sucker bet that'll take 8 months to lose.

Rays have literally no chance of winning this division, won't be able to keep up with the Red Sox for the whole season

This statement is just flat out wrong. Tampa Bay's world series run was not a fluke. HAD their team remained intact, they would most definitely be a world series contender.
