    mlb database website advices...

    I guys,
    I started working again on a website i created last year. www.mlbdb.com
    I need your advice regarding what type of queries would be usefull for baseball bettors...


    Oh and i forgot, where could i find the starting pitchers of each teams for the last 5 years or so?

    I re-designed the site, looks way better now.
    I'll add many possible queries to it.
    Like creatings rankings for best home dogs,road fav, ect.
    I'd like to segment results by months as well.

    1st five inning stats for starting pitchers.
    1st five innings for team offense

    I like to bet the first five so I don't have to worry about RP's screwing things up.

    After playing around on the site for a few minutes I think it would be cool to have everything also organized into a high to low format.

    Such as an option to see the teams that would have made the most units in an order from most to least. Same as number of overs/unders.

    I click on this thing and it tells me cant be found all other websites seem to be working.
    A googling of this url gives several links from other forums and other places (good marketing) but, I can't get it to pull up!

    I'll do the "How many times a team gets swept in a season and which teams have the most sweeps".

    Won't be able to do queries for the first 5 innings, i do not have this data in my database.

    Ok its working now an what you already have is great
    Here is my few suggestions.
    Since you are gearing it toward bettors and using forums I would suggest breaking it down as such
    at front/Home Page have a Straight bettor Button and a Chase bettor Button (let it change as it needs to, of course there wont be much on either one right now but in 1-2 years there could be!)
    On the TEAMS page
    can you have that broken down by if you played against as well (I know there is another site that does that but sometimes their results are a little rough to understand for some folks and you would be "easing" that) and we arent talking about their site we are talking about yours
    How about RL (button at top of existing teams page)
    Shows if you played the RL and how it would have fared. again maybe for and against

    On the Over or Under Page
    can we see a running tally much like in the teams page?

    I can think of quite a few more but, it would take away from the simplicity that I think you are trying to create (and doing a great job BTW)

    Love the Red/Blue color change button!

    Overall great job and no criticism just some thoughts as asked.
