Nothing jumps out at me, my system likes the Rays, not thrilled about some of the matchups in that one though, treading lightly today.

well I went with the Mets -135 @ carib last night but that does you no good right now.

I think the Angels should be nice tonight as well. Best team in the league vs Sonnanstine is always good

yes its a good dog play today
i would stick with half the normal bet size, kinda like a jimmy hat, because of blt's defensive bull pen rank is not eye pleasing

I think Duchscherer's reign as a supreme pitcher is over and he is back to earth. The only way I see the A's beating the Twins today is 1-0 or 2-1, I'm not sure duchy is up to that anymore...

Would have loved to back Houston if big C. lee was out in leftfield, but the big man is done for the year. The Astros love to sink their teeth into left-handed pitching, but so do the Brewers. That said; the Brew Crew's only hitting southpaws at a .196 clip L/10 while Houston's been clobbering as usual with a team batting avg of .299 L/10.

Wolf also troubles me on the road where his ERA jumps bigtime. Still, I think HOU will take to the challenge of handing CC his first NL loss with open arms and scratch some runs across much like the Cubs did vs. him in his worst start as a Brewer.

Best play in this one just might be the OVAH!!!

Also, Minnesota looks awfully cheap against Oakland today. The A's have been wrteched over the last month and a half, and finally dropped a home series to the White Sox for the first time in ages.

No doubt Oakland's one of the uglier pups on the docket, but that line is just screaming for Minny $$$!!!

    Small play on DUCHSH....

I think the White Sox have a 90% chance of winning tonight. Beurhle is lights out at home, and Washburn got rocked by CWS last time he faced them. Although Washburn has pretty good road numbers compared to his overall numbers. The Mariners are 7-17 in All of Washburn's appearances this season. And the White Sox NEED wins the rest of the season for the play-off race, and they aren't about to give one up at home against Seattle with Beurhle on the mound.

Seattle's sticks have been very "live" on their current road trip, and Washburn has been good as well. Maybe his teammates will pick him up tonight after blowing his last start where an error allowed 3 unearned runs to cross the plate. Buehrle might also be due for a rough night after finally evening his record up at 10-10 his last time out. Mark just hasn't been able to crawl over the .500 mark all season.

Also, it was rumored that the White Sox have their eye on Washburn, and might consider trying to pull off a waiver deal before Sept 1st. It's possible he goes out and dominates the Palehose tonight just to improve his chances of getting shipped out of Seattle....

Everything is possible. "Washburn might just be nervous in tonight's game because it is important if he wants shipped out of Seattle, he may get rocked in 3 innings. Beurhle finally made it to the .500 mark, and now I think he continues to roll through the rest of the season with a boost of confidence."

And I'm giving the worst team a chance to win, a 10% chance to win.

White Sox are rolling right now.
    Mariners are garbage.

Mariners have a slight advantage in batting average vs. lefties. But the pitcher's matter too, and this is a lob-sided pitching match-up.

True, 10 is a little low. I think the White Sox would win more like 7 out of 10 with this match-up. But were on the same page here, White Sox win.
