"Worth" is pretty subjective isn't it?

The market will pay him what they deem he's worth.

Unreal. Guy isn't hitting to his potential either. Fukk him, I'd give him 150 for 10, front loaded.

I dont even care for the guy, i would give him 75 for 3 and look to replace him after that if he still demands that much....his numbers are dropping every year as of now.

Eh, I don't know about that. Statisticians have been saying his numbers would regress for years now, and they haven't. The truth is that he still has 4-6 REALLY good years left, and another 3-5 decent years. So, statistically speaking, a decent year for Pujols would be a .290, 25 HR, 90 RBI guy.

Someone before also said that the market dictates the price he is worth which is absolutely correct (just because a stock is technically worth $100/share does not mean that it trades at that price). He may well only be "technically" worth $22-25 million a year, but the market (all MLB teams) seems to be inclined to pay him and others like A-Rod, more than that.

Another side note too: this guy is a TANK. He has never been an injury concern for LaRussa his whole career.

    Just food for thought...
